What Are Your Thoughts On Plastic Surgery?

sorry!!! i was typing quite fast...i meant the nostrils flare...sorry!!!

i am sorry, i don't know the word. what are nostril flares? :ninja::ninja::ninja:

thank you my dear :flower:

i would never go for a nancy ajram nose :ninja: iv made it very clear that if i was to lift my tip is just to balance it out and not make it high, i want everything to be super natural, a more delicate profile, as for my flarey nostrils i dont know:blush: im quite happy with them, it was merely a suggestion, i would never go for the pinched look he ment just to bring them in a little but nothing drastic but i trust his opinion, hes done 2 of my friends nose's and the results were very natural and beautiful... we'll see in the next follow up with my mumma he will explain everything in more detail... not sure how shes gna feel about it :innocent:

as long as you have seen the good results on your friends then i hope there is nothing to worry about.

good luck :flower: tell us how it goes!

I've always considered having my top lip reduced because it's more prominent than my bottom lip. Also, I hate that my gums show when I smile...I don't know if that could be fixed, does anyone know?

i do know that this can be fixed; but i don't know how and how much it'll cost. i would do that before reducing the upper lip.
but i am sure your PS will tell you everything

Pash, I know someone who had it reduced but she was told you can only do a little at a time and often requires several surgeries. I think you go to a maxillofacial surgeon for that, they're a plastic/reconstructive surgeon that focus on the jaw area. Definitley go to someone with lots of experience with this procedure. The girl I know didn't get a good result the first time, I met her after the surgery and would never know that she's attenped to fix it already. She decided to do her nose instead of a second gum surgery

pash, is your top lip so prominent that you can't plump up your bottom lip to balance it out instead?

i am not sure if i got this correct: nostril flares are something that is considered beautiful? doesn't everybody have them?

i am sorry, i don't want to annoy with this. i just don't think that i understood this right ("language wise" ^_^). or what is meant when some of you say that this is a sign of beauty.

Im not so sure about the flaring being a sign of beauty - as everybodys nose flares hehe but my PS ment that my nostrils flares abit more then the avarage person when i smile, they go abit more up and he said he can correctfy them to flare more normaly haha ( i never noticed that my nostrils did that but he did ) so thats what i ment when i said they flare.

Well, you only live once. I have no problem with surgeries like to make your nose smaller, lips fuller, cheekbones more prominent, etc. I'm not behind other cosmetic surgeries like permanent makeup, though. That's a bit strange to me.

everyone I've seen with permanent makeup is always kind of white trashy looking with crispy bleach blonde hair and leathery sun damaged skin. Not to say everyone is like that, but needless so say Im not a fan of permanent makeup.

the ida your nose looks fantastic! It looks like you had closed rhino so healing is a lot faster.

I have fat transplant and lipo scheduled for october, although Im going to see if I can move the date up, I think I might have scheduled it during midterms... The fat transplant isnt going to really make me look any different since it'll be replacing the the juvederm I already have in my lips, nasolabial folds and marionette line. I cant wait to finally have my perfect megan fox lips  The hard part is letting the juvederm breakdown in the meantime, watching my face sag and lips shrivel until the surgery date.

I'm having lipo on my thighs, knees and calves since I store all my fat in my legs and have a really stumpy look. I do feel like I'm taking the easy way out but the only time I was mostly happy with my legs I wasnt healthy. Right now I eat well, excersize and am at a healthy weight but not quite happy with my body. My calves are mostly muscle so they'll still be big but I'm hoping they'll have a more attractive shape.

For those of you who have gotten rhinoplasty, im curious as to the different nose shapes that are out there. Do any of you know?

I'm unclear as to what your asking... Could you try to explain more? Good plastic surgeons make everyones noses different based on their original nose and what would fit their face best so I dont think there are a set of nose shapes out there. However the trend has definitely moved from sloped, upturned tiny noses to straighter, more prominent noses.

When you go into see a surgeon, do they give (or can you ask for) a specific nose shape or do the mostly make certain tweaks based on what's proportionate to one's face?

You cannot ask for a certain shape, they make everyones different based on your proportions. The thickness of the skin and strength of cartiledge also play into what can be done to your nose. They have to be very careful to maintain support or your nose will collapse as it heals (MJ as an extreme case). During the consulation they'll ask you what you don't like about your nose, then tell you what they think should be done and show you in a picture to make sure your happy with it. However each plastic surgeon has a slighlty different aesthetic and idea of what looks good so you should look at a lot of before/afters to find a dr with a look you like.

plastic surgery, like abortion, same-sex marriage or carrying a gun, is a person's right & choice- I don't understand why some people make such a huge fuss about it. If they don't like it, then don't do it!

I've never actually thought about it though. Don't think I'll be getting surgery anytime soon or in the future. Too scary and expensive :P
