What can I wear it with? (December 2003 - March 2010)

I think that something like what LAMALONE posted is your best bet, with the exception of the scarfs. They're sooo played out by now. I see people throw on a tank top, jean skirt, and not full-length leggings and then slab one of those scarfs on top and call it fashion. I just find it rather irksome by now, but that's just me. What a shame though, because there are some cute ones out there.

I don't know what your personal style is Cicciolina, but I would continue the western feel that the boots give off. Either a shirt like what LAMALONE posted or a white blouse to tuck into fairly high-waisted straight-leg/skinny jeans. NOT the kind the have buttons going all the way up though.

And for added effect, Rackk & Ruin style jewellery:

Agree with above posts.
Bottoms: leggings, tights, skinnys or tights w/ denim mini
Tops: in addition to tanks or layered basics I would pick either: - a flowy boho type top for balance on top, - or go w/ a denim vest or one of the long sleeveless denim shirts (I think it was in Bazaar or Elle March pictorials) & funk it up with some bangles and silver jewelry.
Have fun, they're cute :flower:

I bought this dress - and I loooove it!!- but I just don't know what to wear with it.

Tights? No tights? Top underneath? Type of shoes?

It's ok on holidays with ballet flats and nothing else... but I feel I have to accessorize it a bit to wear it now - it's quite short and has a deep V-line.

Thanks for your help!!!

Evy- You could wear a white cami, and some red pumps to add a little color to it. Or some nice jeweled sandals. And some gold Nautical jewelry.

Evy- I think you have a really cute and versitile dress there.
Like you say when it's hot it's perfect on it's own with flats and minimal accessories.
When the weather is a bit more chilly I think you have lots of options. Wearing a top underneath, just something plain in white......or I think a nice contrast would be a very fine striped long sleeve t.
I think a trilby hat would also look good with this dress, think Alexa Chung and Mischa Barton!
I think also a plain blazer would be cute. I'd wear tights, any plain colour, black, blue, grey, white. Or maybe red would be cute.
I'd keep the shoes plain with tights, ballet flats or patent mary janes.

Good luck, hope this helps.

I am not sure what I should wear with this outfit: a navy button down tucked into a gray wool skirt. it kind of has a vintage feel to it. here is a pic:

would wearing dark brown pumps with the brown clutch look ok? or would you go with black pumps and another colored bag?

Thanks LAMALONE, Milada and Serenity*Now.

The whole Western/boho thing isn't my style at all so those outfits with the boots are very new to me  I'll definitely have to experiment, I'll see what I can make do with my denim skirt, various white blouses and gold jewellery. Thank you!

Bee that's a pretty classic outfit. I think it'll look fine with either dark brown or black pumps, I'd personally prefer dark brown because I think both navy and grey look nice with the warm tones of dark brown with it. Or black tights, any sort of neutral coloured shoes really and a matching back, long pearl necklace, navy striped cardigan on top, etc. It's a great basic outfit that you can build a lot from!

I bought a pair of White, slim (almost skinny) fitting trousers from Zara, and would like some expertise on what i can wear them, with this summer... any suggestions? Not sure i want to go with the ALL white looks that some collections have displayed for summer, but dont want the trousers to become an eyesore in public.
Thanks

Men's magazines owned by Conde Nast seem to be pushing white jeans for a while now, so their various sites might be of help. Google images ('white jeans men') also came up with a lot of examples, take a look there for outfits you might like.

FIVE KEYS TO WEARING WHITE JEANS
5. Bet on Black
White jeans never look better than when paired with black—be it a polo shirt or a V-neck sweater.
4. Get Your Footing
White sneakers work great with white jeans, as long as the sneaks have some detailing. Wear all-white tennis shoes and you’ll look like a male orderly.
3. Bring on the Sand
White jeans say summer. Bring a pair with you when you head to the beach for a week and wear them with everything from flip-flops to an unbuttoned shirt.
2. Lose the Belt
Do like most of the guys here and wear your white jeans without a belt for a lighter, leaner look. Just make sure the jeans fit well.
1. Pick the Right Coat
And go ahead and throw on a suit jacket or sport coat. But remember: If you want to maintain the clean, minimal look of the white jeans, opt for a jacket neutral in color and without a pattern.

More or less agree with this advice, except I prefer white jeans with lighter, more muted colors than black. Plus, wearing a dark top and very light trousers can actually make you look short unless you're very tall. Dark piping/detailing on a shirt or jacket would be nice though, just a touch of black for the contrast. Oh, and white top with white skinnies is a bit too Johnny Borell for my liking, not to mention impractical! You want to keep at least one part of your outfit from getting dirty easily:P

Ohh thanks very much!
Those 5 points are great help.
Can't wait for summer now.

Elegant - a fox chubby looks fabulous with leggings like the ones you posted (although it is getting slightly too warm for it maybe?). Victoria Beckham recently pulled off the look to perfection.

Elegant, what kind of style are you usually into? And what's your body type? It's key with a piece like that.

I recently bought a dress on impulse. :( Thought it was really cute at the store but when I got home, I was totally confused with it. The dress is either suppose to look this way because I'm too flat, or something else. I only took a quick picture with my webcam.

so what do you girls/guys have for me?

Imo it's not small chests that make a low neckline look 'bad', but a bony collarbone area, and judging from your picture, you don't have that. It's difficult to offer styling suggestions w/o a full-length shot, but I think that neckline suits an updo or half-up hairstyle. Strong earrings and no necklace for heart-shaped necklines are the accessories du jour. But as it's a black dress, the styling possibilites are both easy and endless.

^ I see no problem--it looks good to me as is  Accessorize with some great music before you go out ^_^
