i think blk opaques are too heavy as well...
so we all seem to agree on that...

is a simple sheer blk hose just too boring?...
...

further clarification...
the jkt and skt are reallly a dusty blue curious...
the jkt is almost 'sharkskin'-has a sheen adn the skt is cashmere felt...
there's a hint of grey...but it is seriously blue here...

helena-you didn't mention hosiery?...
thoughts?...

oh sorry softgrey...I'd try barely-black semi-opaques I think. But I think that depends a bit on what you wear under the jacket......I think the hosiery should tie in somehow to what you wear under the jacket...I think.....although maybe you should try a few alternative sto see what works best.

No, Soft, I personally don't think sheer black hose are too boring... especially if you do shoe 2 or 3

I think you could do a lot in terms of hosiery, but I agree with Helena that it needs to be tied in somehow up top... whether it's with a blouse under the jacket or an accessory. I think the suit alone with something dark on bottom will look off balance and incomplete...

Hmm, I'm partial to the patent pump. As far as hosiery, I'd say sheer black, but that may be to safe with the simple shoe so mabye a very fine fishnet?

i have no idea what to wear under...
i was just going to leave it closed...
what should i wear?....
a blk cami-an ivory cami?...

it has to be blk-i just checked and that's all i really have...
or nude...:ninja:

*now i'm thinking i could do a pattern hose with the plain pump...
but it has to be a plain hose with the bow...
and it can be an open weave with the sexy sandal....

depends what i wear it for i guess...
thanks guys..this is really helping...

I think a pair of softgrey thights would work quiet well with the dusty blue outfit ( I thought it was grey as well ) either w. black shoes or grey ones..
If you wore it w. a softgrey/slateblue/softbrown top it would be very marni'esque colours, very pretty.

yes I agree with Hanne - Hanne you are so good with colour!!! The grey or brown colours might work quite well I think....

Thanks Helena :flower:
Softie you might even be able to team the outfit with a dusty yellow colour ( a sheer very light mustard yellow ? )

OK, now that I know that the suit is blue (thought it was grey as well), I've changed my mind, and agree that grey tights are probably the way to go.

I'm sticking to my guns with the first shoe, though - I just think it's a better match, given the style of the suit.

i like the idea of the brown/gry/blk...marniesque colours too...
i actually did think of that because i have been obsessing over the marni fall collection...

don't know if i have the right pieces for that though...:ermm:...
maybe i need to do a re-think here...hmmm...

softgrey....could you wear sth brown under the jacket & leave the jacket open....?brown tights & shoes? and a crafty necklace? maybe thats too literal a copy?

..
i have almost nothing brown though...

trying oon some stuff...
back with more pics soon...

hhmmmm yes I have barely nothing brown either.....

 Boy could I give you girls some brown!!

I hate the word "brown" though because it connotates as boring to me... I prefer to call them "cocoas" :D

Off-topic,but Curious I have this Rick Owens outfit and I totally thought "I need Curious to describe this one!!! Mocha,cappuchino,cognac,treacle,toffee.... "

yummy!...:woot:...
