I never thought about the puffball skirt myself but I can def. see its a good idea... Navy blue is great, thats another thing I didnt think of, I was to focused on black I guess :) thanks Therese..

ELLE_ME, I reckon this top would look nice with black cuffed, tailored shorts, a chunky necklace and pretty red flats.

UberMcQueen, I think black skinny jeans/pants with a basic white singlet or loose-ish t-shirt and a denim waistcoat would look great with those shoes.

Thanks..I like the idea of the skinny jeans alot.......

I have hot pink shoes and I don't know what to wear it with. I was thinking maybe all black ( black top with skirt or pants) with these shoes and jewelery to compliment it.

black skirt or trousers and black jacket with a pink top or t-shirt.

JATE - great top! It looks very versatile. The color is a neutral, so you could pair it with almost any color really. I like gray as a softer option to black.. and we know black goes with everything

So that being said, UburMcQueen, I also think your shoes would work very well with gray ;) Of any shade!

OK, so you might try a little necklace, or maybe leave the bare skin and go a bit dramatic on the earrings ...

Shoes, perhaps a kitten heel to match the pants ...

Jacket/layers ... I would layer under rather than over ... you could put a long-sleeved bodysuit under if you want to wear it now, but you want all that great detailing to show, you don't want to layer over it except maybe a coat for outside ... IMO :D ;)

Bare skin and dramatic earrings sounds great, and I totally agree on the layer..I already have a pair of black skinny pants, I just need to look for a pair of black or red kitten heels..Thank you guys, great ideas:woot: ...I tried to give you karma but my pc wouldnt let me:(

When i saw the top, my immediate reaction is to wear something under it ^_^
depending on what you wear on the bottom(skinny jeans/bubbleskirt, etc), you can wear a tissue tshirt under...say scoop neck...and then add a chunky necklace:flower:

you might be able to replicate a Marnish look as well...the wrapped part looks almost like a waist cincher and ideally the skirt will sit right under the wrapping piece...I'm thinking about silver/gold skirts...

Irregular Choice "Dinner's Ready" from zappos.com
I think they are cute in a bizarre way, but what could you wear them with?

edit: they also come in black/white and white/lightblue but the green looks best with the little banner or whatever you call it.

^ well, an apron dress would be the obvious choice  I think they're cute, susie could def rock these.

I thought of that but then it seems almost like a costume? I was wondering if there was a way to get away with drawing the focus to the shoes and looking otherwise pretty neutral, but still fitting with the shoes...

That sounds cute and understated :) perfect!

Do you think navy will be okay with the fact that it has purple polka dots? Or do you think I should get purple tights and skirt? (I already have navy tights and skirt)

What to wear?

Well I am new here so hi to everybody.

I recently bought this dress

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d84/sleepy_DC/dress.jpg

and I am having trouble finding accessories. I will need to buy some kind of scarf/shrug/bolero since one part of the wedding I am attending is going to be outside and it will be a bit cold (Christmas wedding). I'm having trouble finding shoes that don't have a killer-high heels. If anybody has any suggestions for some kind of top that could be worn with this dress or any kind of accessories they can think of please help :)

You're right, I thought I was seeing navy in the shoes ... I'd try it with the navy you have and see what it looks like ... I can tell you that good purple tights are hard to find ... that's the reason I don't have any ;)

What about a black cashmere wrap or black velvet cape & black velvet pumps?
