I have a dance coming up and the theme is beachy and im just wondering if the flats look okay with the dress if not any suggestions on a dress that would go better with them?

Don't mix blues that are so close in hue.

I'd try a more natural color.
These flats would compliment the dress nicely.. they're an interesting print.. I actually own these.. they're so much cuter in person. ... Size up, though.
Also, try a wooden bangle or a wooden beaded necklace...or even a flowered(a real one) lei.

Is it warm enough where you are to wear sandals? That's what I would do since it's a beach theme... a nude or metallic thong sandal would be pretty. Love the lei idea too

Can I wear black tights under this dress? Because It's a little seen trough? Or can I buy some slips where you couldn't see anything?

I was thinking to wear this dress, with black pumps and a black vest and a white trenchcoat....it's for something formal....

I don't think a slip would be a bad idea.. you can get a dress slip... or you can go with a skirt slip... I'd go for a black slip... or a nude... but then again.. if the dress is a little see-through.. the possibilities are endless! I could see a beautiful vibrant blue slip under that dress...

But yea... nothing wrong with a slip in your situation.

I'd go with the slip and not the tights

with a dress that skimpy on top, all that solid heavy dark mass of tights on the bottom half would make the look unbalanced

Very nice stillettogirl, I'm wondering if it could get away with a different colour camisole in the evening outfit, or even a pattern...but I'm not very good at putting things together.

Hence me asking what I can wear with these:

Bought from ebay for £10 and I love them, they're higher than they look in the photo and the only time I've worn them so far is under a pair of straight leg jeans, with a black top.

Any ideas for showing them off a bit more, because they're a fantastic colour
