a984mel - Great dress!! This being a neutral, I think you could pair it with a lot of different things. A black shoe is the obvious for me. A black mary jane pump would be really cute as well as a black ballet flat or skimmer. One will dress it up, the other down. Any rich saturated hue I think would work with it. I'd stay away from pastels with it though since it's so light itself
darkchyld - really nice, classic shoe

My thoughts -
Colors - camel, navy (much like a dk denim), burgundy, brick red, forest green(emerald)
Shapes - pencil skirt

, a-line skirt, slim (make sure the leg is long enough) or wide-leg trouser, short pants (like pedal pushers - see NY street style), the pleated baggier shorts that have made a comeback...
88 - How fun!! I can't imagine wearing them in the summer, though

The heat index is 115 here today

The only thing I can think of is a really light airy white dress and some flats. Sounds pretty...
In the fall though, black dress/skirt, your brilliant tights & blk pumps
shalu - gorgeous! I'd take that page right out of Kate's book. She looks fabulous! A plain fitted white tee (or maybe cream with the shade of your skirt) and flat sandals would be pretty, too. I also think you could work blk with it, but I'd keep what you pair it with matte & simple since the skirt has such great detail!
opheliayc - that dress is a blank canvas!! So much you could do. But hasn't the bride dictated how it should be worn? In my experience with weddings, the bride always determines accessories so everyone looks harmonious. If that's not the case though, you could work some really fabulous jewelry. It's screaming for a necklace. Or a brightly colored belt (again, wouldn't recommend this for the wedding itself but maybe for the reception) or a corsage pinned at the top or waist. A detailed wrap would be pretty. The list goes on...
