educo, when you're wearing a puffy skirt, the most important thing is to wear it with something tight, to balance things out. I would wear it with this:

I don't have a clue what to wear with...

...my new shoes. Here they are.

I have an outfit picked out, I just need input on the type of accessories/jewelry to wear. It's just for a concert/fun night out next week where I want to look cute but not too "done" all pretty.
The outfit is these jeans

For shoes I have some dark blue patent slingback peeptoe heelsfrom charlotte russe. They are Lou knock-offs.:ninja:

I have VERY short brown hair. I'm thinking bracelets and necklace(es?) Maybe this necklace?

bananrepublic.com. It's a locket. But no earrings?
TIA for any judgement or input! :flower:

P.S. It's Mickey Avalon concert so the cobrasnake/scene style is appropriate except I don't want to look like I'm trying to look like that. I still want to look like me. Although I do dress really differently for different events.

which pants dor you prefer with this Navy single-breasted blazer with gold signature crest button fastenings on front - from Paul Smith, the white AM or skiny dark grey Chloe. Do YOu like thiese Miu Miu with the whole outfit.
It's for conservative work.

I think I will end up wearing my black straight leg jeans. Its the top bit. I asked the same on another forum and all I got back was "those shoes are ridiculous", "make the rest of your outfit so bad no one notices the shoes". Losers.

I know, that's often the problem with smaller forums, everyone being rude and bitchy. I only use tfs nowadays.

I like your shoes:flower:

Hmm, I like saddle shoes.

Straight from The Sartorialist, street style pictures of Parisiennes (presumably, or out-of-towners visiting for the shows) wearing them in offbeat ways...

Those shoes are adorable, very classic looking, those people (read: idiots) don't know what they're saying.

I'd wear them with black tights and cropped trouser shorts with a black turtle neck - maybe with a white bag, I've been a fan of wearing all black with different color accesories lately

I think they would look great with bootcut darker jeans and for example with a simple white t-shirt. I don´t think you need any jewelry - the shoes are so great that it would just distract from them.:flower:

Help!

What do you wear with:

Red ballet shoes. Yeah, not ballet flats, but actual lace-up-your-leg style shoes.

and...

Black, really lacy, with some tulle and silk ribbon, gothic-style-up-to-you-knee skirt?

;):flower:

The ballet, grey skinny jeans and a black or white top, with a long vintage, gold necklace. Gorgeous!

For the dress, i would need a picture.

^^^ Ooh, grey skinny jeans! Sounds good. :flower:

And it's actually a skirt, similar to this one:

Except all the white bits in this picture are black.
I want to wear it and not look gothic. ;)
Any suggestions?
