What can I wear it with? (December 2003 - March 2010)

oh. That would be hard, but if you have a cute face i assume it would work. If the corset-thing isn't attached to the skirt, i would loose it. I would also wear it with pumps, not boots. And you would have to wear it with something really tight and simple, to balance things out. This is my suggestion:

I love how the t-shirt is such a good contrast to the skirt, while the shoes are surprisingly cute, to make it less "gothic" and dark. The gold, thin bangles as no necklace work with tee and it needs an acessory.

I would theme it, from your own closet, a simple tee, preferably longsleeved or tanktop w/ a u-neck, white is a good colour, with a few simple bracelets and some cute pumps

I woud wear all stars for a different, more youthful look, or black boots. Or pumps w/ socks, a look i lo-ove. Other than footwear, you can really wear anything with it. Black trousers, skirts, shorts, jeans, tanktops, sweaters, tee's, cardigans, shirts etc

Howabout wearing Mary-Janes or pumps with tights? The tights should keep your feet tolerably warm. I'd also add some colour, as the trench coat, being long, is virtually covering your body in black. B)

I really love it and want to wear it in as many ways as I can.. would appreciate ideas/advice on what would work and what wouldn't..

I know it would probably go w/ pumps or flats but I don't have either of those (they're uncomfortable for me to wear) - I have a lot of shoes but i'm worried about which would go with these..tons of wedge loafers, one pair of black booties w/ a four inch heel, etc etc..


Also I don't want to have to wait until it's warm here (i'm in boston and the weather is crazy) to wear it- but don't know if it would look really weird with opaque black tights and the black booties

What would you wear with these boots?

Hey everyone,

I have these cute ankle boots from Aldo (Kadee) in brown. I can't wear them yet because there is snow on the ground where I am, but I've been thinking about what I would wear with them.. but everyone else's ideas seem to conflict. Some say don't wear them with skirts, others say avoid skinny jeans. What do you think? What would you wear with them?

(The only picture I could find was of the black ones.. but mine are dark brown)

I'd say wear them with super long sweater dress/cardigan or shift dress with tights or socks... and top it off with a cropped jacket for warmth or cocoon coat that doesn't fall to far below the knees
