What Kind Of Car Do You Drive?

Yup, I agree, you know, most websites, I would give out any details, but the spots different, I trust most of the members here when they say they have this car, be it the net or not.
And prince, as for Micoture, the Spencers arent related to the windsors by blood, so Micoture was talking out of his **** again, what a surprise. :innocent:

The question was 'What kind of car do you drive?' or 'What is your dream car?'  ;)

I know WHAT they question was, but i said i doubt most people really do have those cars they say they HAVE :flower:
Hee! Well, I really have the car I said I have, and my husband really has the car I said he has. We're Volkswagen nutters. I guess you could tell those were home snaps that I posted.

For further veracity, I present:

My husband and I on a trip to visit his grandma in Fargo.

And my husband, looking exceedingly pleased, on the day we bought the New Beetle. Ain't it yellow???? :) [/b][/quote]
nice pics :P

I drive a Nordic Blue metallic Seat Arosa 1.4 auto , because it's nippy and easy to park . B)

And that's the truth !

KIT :innocent:

I haven't driven a car in years bc I crashed trough the windshield of my VW Jetta when I whan 17 lol :P I mean, it wasn't funny than, but it kind of is now. I healed up nicely and the docs said that if I WAs wearing my seatbelt I would have been crushed!! The wheel was in the hatchback- so I obviously do not think that I'll ever drive again- but who knows? I live inNYC so I don't need to but yesterdya I was tempted to go go my license renewed-- I saw a cherry red vintage Alpha Romeo parked on my block. What a perfect car! It had this amazing little triangular chrome thing on the grill a leather sunroof on the top. Oh ME wants!! I will put up a pic if its still there-- Kisses,

I have a Jetta (push it up for the dubbers ;))

I want a Corrado.

If I could have any car, I'd drive a Ferrari F355.

They are related. If micotoure was talking about Lady Spencers family being related to the Windsors (the royal family) then YES they are related. Which is kind of gross because Lady Diana was related to Prince Charles

*******************************************************

As for what I drive:

When I started driving I would give my father a heart attack every time I drove off. I could never find parking downtown and when I did I would hit the other cars 65% of the time :innocent:

My father is a car buff and collects all sorts he didn't want me to touch his cars anymore and was afraid I would get hurt; so he got me a driver like he got my also "driving challenged" mother

So when I'm home in the city I ride like a little kid in the back of a black E55 Sedan. When I'm abroad I take taxis

I forgot about my dream car... I would get a nice red ferrari.

My dad likes collecting Italian cars so I've inherited a taste for them. Maybe I should leard to park a car first

Hmm..I could sell ya a Scirocco--the cursed precursor to the Corrado. Corrados are hot stuff, man. Fun! Actually, my old Shitrocco is a zippy little devil when it's not trying to spontaneously combust. Dodgy wiring. I keep looking for somebody who wants a quirky, foreign, fixer-upper, potential street-racer.

Here in Canada my sister and I drive:

1999 White Dodge Durango <----My baby :)

1999 Silver BMW 323i <------sisters car

1992 Pearl Cadallic Eldorado <-----in case on of our cars is in the shop. (I hate driving this cuz I feel like an old lady) This is really mom's car but we store it here

Back home (texas) I have a maroon colored Vespa and a 1987 SS Monte Carlo

My parents have trucks for their business so they never drive the cars. All the trucks are Dodges.

I guess you have to be a great driver to drive those trucks.

I have a hard time driving little cars... I can imagine running into a ton of things driving a Dodge truck.

Dodgy wiring.
One of the many reasons I won't ever buy a Scirocco. ;)

Their engines are just little 8v 1.8litres. Maybe if it had a G60 or a VR6 like the Corrado's, but no. When tuned nice, and rewired, [Sciroccos] aren't too bad, but I still wouldn't own one. :)

*knows his VW's*

My Scirocco's got a 2-litre out of a wrecked Audi Fox. It's the original series Scirocco (A1 body) and it is LIGHT. That's 2-litre is almost too much power for the car. You can chirp the tires through first, second, third, and if you really punch it, fourth gear. The little beast practically turns square corners, too, it turns so sharp.

If I could trust it to start regularly and not make frightening smells, I'd seriously consider keeping it. I don't adore it like I do my '59, but it is a pretty fun little car. My husband really loves hotrodding the Scirocco.

FARGO!?!?!?

haha way to represent...

weird that you were in this slightly remote town i live in.. B)

oh and I drive a 90' nissan maxima
and soon i'm getting my mom's 2000 camry..

cars don't really worry me one day i'll have enough money to buy my dream car... i want a pink motorcycle too... haha :innocent:

i now own 2 vehicles.

my crappy piece of crap Land Rover Defender -- it sounds glamourous but its not when its cold and raining

AND now i have the first car i've ever bought with my own money -- well it will be, once i pay my parents off for the half they put into it, but yeah i now own a 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser. much, much better when it comes to the rain and cold! plus, it actually feels good to pay for something like that with my own money. feels like a present i bought for myself.

I've been putting getting off my permit for about 2 months now, so I can't drive. :D Actually, I nearly sent my mom through the window of her Jeep she used to drive us to school in.... Then I nearly wrecked it turning onto our street... hehe but when I DO get to drive, my dad's getting my sister and me a white bmw OR a black benz.. he can't decide. It's mainly going to be my sis driving and me sleeping in the back, but hey for a first car it won't be bad!
