What Magazines Have You Bought/Received Recently?

At last, I managed to find a copy of Gisele's Vogue!

I randomly saw it for sale at a decent price, so I've got US Vogue's 100th anniversary issue (April 1992) coming to me, and it feels like a nice way to bookend my days of being obsessed with magazines (vogue.com).

Finally got to see my CNWNN order in person from that sale back in May! First encounter with the Chinese editions, as well as Greece and Netherlands. The Love issues were too cheap to pass up, I had to add them to the collection.

My vintage magazine purchasing frenzy had led me away from Vintage Elle and Vogue Paris to... buying Égoïste. I was able to buy No. 10, 1987 for a ridiculously good price (when it's mostly listed for absurd prices). It's incredible! I'm glad I was able to find it.

60 issues of Vogue Paris from 2002 to 2009for only 20 pounds, were for sale on eBay and the pickup was only in the area so I was the only one who made an offer, all in excellent codes as the seller collected them

obsessed with kate moss i bought two 2000 uk vogue (may and september) 5 pound each (in perfect condition) and two love magazines with Kate on the cover 5 pound each

Its a shame that one completely evaded me. Was never quite able to get the chance to obtain it.

I am officially clearing out my list of everything I've wanted. After that, I have to quit. I will be completely out of space.

I received a copy of the Aug 22 French Vanity Fair (pic from @VanityFairFR) which is probably the type of 'dead celebrity' cover we would have seen from Graydon's VF given the release of the Ana de Armas film.

Because I subscribe to the UK edition, and have free digital library access to the other versions, I flick through the French (and Spanish) editions every month, but only occasionally buy them in print form. They do tend to share reprinted content, so I've become very selective as to which issue I keep around in print form.

What I like about French Vanity Fair is that, while the design has been broadly brought into line with the main US/UK version, they've retained an art deco style font which adds a hint of old Hollywood.

Vanity Fair Italia comes out far too often for me to keep up with, and I can no longer easily get hold of the print issue.

So, I obviously have a problem...

I have too many to take a photo of, but here are my most recent Elle France acquisitions:



I've also started to get my hands on Jardin des Modes, but it's difficult to find!! I have another issue from 1964, but someone who owned it over the years literally *drew* their own dresses on top of the dresses in the editorials. At first I was appalled, but it's kind of charming.

Finally added to the collection! Carried home carefully inside a cardboard box as inspired by @vogue28! Next purchase will be W's 50th Anniversary issue as soon as it's available in Europe. No sight of Amber's Elle France, sadly.
