Smooth black leather d-orsay pumps.

Ankle straps, pointed toes, 6 1/2" heels.

Got a party to go to this afternoon.

OUCH! I can see the edges turning blue...

Probably just a weird camera trick or something. They really are quite comfy once you get used to them purple...

Thanks, but I have no intention whatsoever of ever getting used to them!
If they make you happy though...
Right now I am wearing my very flat blue slippers.

An old pair of black leather Prada lace-ups, I think they're from F/W 01/02. They're kind of pointy, but rounded, and have rubber soles which sort of stretch up around the shoes... Kind of like those suede crepe soled 70's shoes, we call them playboy shoes in Sweden.

Purple...

Haven't worn flats for years. Don't even own a pair anymore.

But as you say, to each her own.

It might actually cause your feet damage if you started wearing them again...

so i'm not crazy when i feel horribly uncomfortable now that i've embraced my lack of height and have begun to wear trainers or flats...?

Meowmix,

I'm confused. Are you happy now that you don't wear heels?

If not go shopping. Plenty of wonderful HIGH heels out there!
