Once I was wearing them and went into my dormitory lounge to get a snack from the vending machine and heard one of the custodians say to another custodian (in Spanish) that my shoes were "como una bruja!" For those of you who are unfamiliar with Spanish, it means "like a witch!"

Do you think the camouflage is too un-PC in light of the war? I bought them a couple days before it started :? . But I guess, hey, I didn't want or start the dang war, I just wanted a pair of slip-on sneakers. And it's not like they're the tan desert camo.
