What to wear for new year's eve??

Well there are around 18 days left.... and I have no idea what I want to wear!!

Please people suggest as to what I can wear...

I want something dressy & sexy... but not to over the top. But NO black.

I'm getting very very drunk for new year's, so nothing fancy. I have a cheap but pretty blue embellished dress from asos.com, and I'll probably wear cheap tall silver platforms from H&M and silver accesories, also cheap, also H&M.

That Phillip Lim dress is so lovely. It combines what I love the most in a dress: blue and draping. I wouldn't get much wear out of it, though. It's very much a going-out-dress - I don't go out much, and when I do, I tend to get terribly drunk...

rolled up blue jeans with my chloe docs (getting lots of mileage out of these), and a black sweater with an angel head tee (ann dem old season).

party is at my house and is casual.

I'm celebrating.. I can fit my Alexander McQueen A/W 02 dress again.. and since I can, and I haven't worn this around the people I'm celebrating new years with everything is pointing to that dress..

I think I'm going to wear a floor-length sheer Alaia gown with vintage gold Gianni Versace wedge heels. The dress is SUPER eighties... it's a flesh-colored knit that hides absolutely nothing. It might be a little much, I haven't had the guts to wear it until now.

i'm wearing a silver sequined dress from h&m, it has so much glitter i love it
with my brown boots (because i don't know how long i will be standing) and black tights.

I found a great dress by accident.
I was poking around my favorite thrift store and there it was.
It's navy blue with a drop waist with beading detail at the dropped waist, on the hem, and the straps.
Best of all it was $40!!

Black eyes/ black hair mid length... i am not too tall... 5'6

I don't have a strict budget... but something not too expensive... as it will be for just one night.
