Would depend on where the flower was and how wide the gorge of the jacket is, no?

The flower is flush with the chiffon of the top - its almost applique-d onto the top rather than being raised out away from the top. you know what I mean? So it looks fine. I know what you mean about wearing corsages under jackets.

Thanks Hanne and Tealady for your help. Tealady, I think you are right, its a bunch of guys who won't remember a jot about what I had on.... Its on tonight - not looking forward to it. I'll be biting my tongue all night!
