What to wear to prom or homecoming

^ Thank you! Yes, I love that about it to. Amazeingly it fitted me perfectly - but mother was to a tiny little thing untill she had me. I am graduating this monday, where I once again will be wearing a dress from generations - my grandmother made it for herself in her youth, then my mother used in the 80's, where she redesigned it a bit - and now its my turn. I am however not changing anything about it.

When I was younger I wore a few vintage things of my mother's ... but they were more everyday than special occasion things. My favorite was a gorgeous pearl grey knife pleated linen skirt ...

What do you guys think of this look for prom? I'm thinking of exchanging the yellow belt for a jewelled one and wearing pink/coral/yellow heels for a pop of colour. Opinions would be very much appreciated.

Do you know if other girls will be wearing short dresses? I think it's fine anyway, even if most will be long, but it's good to be mentally prepared if you're going to break with the pack

Thanks! I had it custom made but I got the idea from this Marchesa dress:

I just changed the back, and asked for organza roses rather than the complicated ones there, and I added the two shoulder straps.
