^ We have shopping by city threads ... you might try there for some local help. You want a dressmaker ... too high up the food chain & they're going to start having copyright issues I would imagine. Well, maybe you can get Marc Jacobs interested in your plight![]()

I laughed so hard when she showed me this...atleast it wasn't a h&m dress straight off the rack!









. I agree that if you want a relatively more "practical" dress, then go with cocktail length as you'll be able to wear it for other occassions. However, if you have the right body (read: gorgeous, slim legs) I also like the idea of a A-line dress that hits mid-calf with vintage style heels (I guess I'm really big on vintage hrmm...). Plus, floor-length gowns seem like they would be just such a pain, because you will be on your feet all night - tripping on your dress while dancing, people stepping on your dress, the bottom of your dress sweeping over all the spilled punch and food crumbs
