^ definitely Kinga, but I'm sure she's working hard on her studies at the moment, hopefully she can be back in the game for next season.

Also missing Valerija a lot from the runway, she is always featured in a ton of amazing magazines and editorials but seeing her on the runway is such a treat.

Downsteppers-Models who are fading for better or worse

Since fashion week is over, which models have you noticed have started to fade from the runway scene? Please be kind with any critiques as to why that is the case.

Andie Arthur didn't even go to Europe
Kate King- holding on thru Dolce Gabbana
Ameyline- where was she?
Erjona- Signed by Society didn't help
Ros-finished school signed by Society didn't help
Nastya Kusakina-someone said she had visa issues and couldn't go to Europe?
Marte Mei Why didn't she walk?
Lin Kjerulf-going to law school
Kinga- I think law school too

Mackenzie Drazan -didn't walk a show in Paris. Weird.
Kel Markey-gotta check her show list. just didn't notice her.
Marie Piovesan
Frida G- love her but her Express and now Maybelline contracts will keep her a busy more commercial girl. Loved her at JPG.
Karlie did more in NY I thought to compensate for her ranking falling, then got busy during MFW with the VS commerical in Paris. Still will be a presence but could use some campaigns.

Monika Jagaciak... walked a few B-list shows so she was obviously available but obviously no one else wanted her. Kind of sad/surprising to see someone fade this much.

Marie Piovesan? I don't think she had a bad season at all, sure she didn't walk 40+ shows, but she did show up at Balmain, Donna Karan, Fendi, Céline, Hermés, Hilfiger, and Lanvin to name a few.

Marie Piovesan? I don't think she had a bad season at all, sure she didn't walk 40+ shows, but she did show up at Balmain, Donna Karan, Fendi, Céline, Hermés, Hilfiger, and Lanvin to name a few.

But last season with 52 shows and she had those and Alexander Wang, Altazurra, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Giles, Pucci, Cavalli. Dior,Valentino- none of which she walked this season

Yes she did walk a lot less blue chips than she normally does, but I don't necessarily think it will affect her print work because that's where she normally does her best.

She actually didn't walk Céline last season or the season before, but she did this season.

I don't think she is fading, so much as she is focusing less on her runway career at the moment, especially right after her marriage.

walking Guy Laroche and IRFE means the pays are too good to turn down, that doesn't mean she tried to join the gang or nobody wanted her.
