Winter coats and jackets

Will just have to look some more... im so not having much luck with coats this season!!!

I found the orange version of this coat at a local consignment store for only $47: http://www.jcrew.com/womens_feature/NewArrivals/outerwear/PRDOVR~79203/79203.jsp

However, it is a size 0P. While it fits snugly on me, the top button is a bit tight across the neck/collarbone area. There is a feeling of pressure being applied. I can fit a cardigan+shirt underneath, but not a thick sweater. So it won't be a winter coat.

Your thoughts?

Gail I prefer the style of the fur on the second, but the length of the first. To be honest they're both nice but think you could probably do better for the price elsewhere. Zara have lots of fur at the moment - have you looked there?

Boots & Perfume... I know exactly what you mean... I wish I could see the second in store... but its from a range they dont seem to have in the city stores... I think i may go for the first...

I just looked in Zara btw... did not see anything on line I liked.. all to long and shaggy and im not sure I could pull that off...

Is there a diff between winter and fall coats? Are you supposed to be able to stuff a thick sweater beneath a coat? So the coat shouldn't be very form fitting?

How many winter coats do y'all have?

eternity... I have about 30 if I include jackets like outdoor type stuff... but in terms of fashion coats about 20ish... I dont really know... never counted... but I always want more... I love the luxuary of coats... especially fur and cashmere ones... I love wrapping up!
