with that said, these clothes represent a significant departure for yamamoto in the most beautiful of directions. it doesn't matter if you're rich or poor whether an intellectual or an aesthete, in the end, we all want to feel just a little sexy sometimes. perhaps, in times of trouble, this remains more true. we really don't buy clothes for others anymore in the way we used to -- in fact, we hide those shopping bags in shame in some cities -- but there's not a man or woman alive who won't splurge on that special piece that makes them feel sexy if even for no one but themselves.
