OK, I'm gonna be going the Fitness Club from Monday on, and I need some tunes to keep me motivated.

So far I only have all the Prodigy albums. I don't normally listen to upbeat/electronic music but I do enjoy it from time to time. So d'you have any recs, and anyone that speaks from personal experiences - your recommendations are going to be hugely appreciated!

Celine Dion. She gets me going like nothing else...

My personal favourites:
The Ramones, The Strokes, I Am The World Trade Center, !!!, Peaches, Kelis, Jurassic 5, Dizzie Razcal, Stereolab, Fischerspooner, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blondie, & Von Bondies.

...pretty much anything that has a lot of energy.

hahah, i know fever is the workout classic

i actually have tons more, esp. house stuff but the list would be so long i would give myself a heart attack :D i dont eat enough calories to keep up with the music.

I don't listen to music when I work out at the gym... sometimes at home, but never at the gym... At home it's Britney..... The Postal Service and etc for Yoga....

I like your picks, Tinu, I'm going to download some of them just for listening pleasure

I call my list on my Ipod...Love...i hate to exercise but I'm slowly starting to like it for the benefits. Anyway this list includes:
Janet Jackson: Damita Jo and some cuts from Design of the Decade
Baltimore Club Music: not an artist but it's really upbeat and fast; almost makes me want to start poppin on the treadmill
Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz: Crunk Juice, especially Don't F with Me...it makes me think I'm in training to kick someone's ***- it's wonderful
Notorious BIG & Junior Mafia- mellow at times but gets the job done
Oldies and Soul Music- The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, the Dell Vikings, Lovin Spoonful; I'm so busy singing along that I don't notice anything else
Bassment Jaxx
NERD
