YSL Tributes

Thank you! rosalynn, I bought them on ebay.
Ooh, even better! I've got a pair too but not really got as much wear out of them as I would like, I think the leopard print is a bit limiting, although that said the weather here has been too rubbish for sandals so I will have to see about the summer. Hope you enjoy them though, they're wonderful, wonderful shoes.

Luckily I live in Southern California where it's pretty much always acceptable to wear sandals! I actually think of leopard print as kind of a neutral.

As i was in London today, i popped into YSL boutique, couldn't belive they still have the Y-Bow Sandals Tributes!,i gave up looking for them some time ago when i couldn't find them online so i just thought the boutiques wouldn't have them at all.
Looove them, if anybody is interested, there are on sale 50% off

Oh, these are amazing aren't they? On my box it says the style name is Obi, I love all these Tribute spin-offs such as 'Straps', 'Studs' etc. And so glad you managed to pick up a pair, and on sale too!

Thanks rosalynn, you got me thinking so i checked my box too, it says Y-bow sandals. The difference between the Obis and the Y-bows are the ankle straps and i only just realised now  i was so happy when i saw them that i just went for them straight away

I think the Y-Bow ones are sexier.

Ah, well spotted beduina, I didn't even realise the two variants existed :ninja: I think I like them in equal measure, they're such great shoes.

I really want a pair of tributes, they're kinda of my holy grail of shoes! But since there's noe stores in my country that sell them, and I can't really try them on, how are they? Are they impossible to walk in? :P

^They are actually pretty comfortable, i wouldn't recommend to walk all around town in them but if you put them on for a dinner and/or going out clubbing with "seatting breaks" you'll be fine, it works for me. I don't know about other users experiencies

For me they're one of my comfiest pairs of high heels, particularly the original pumps (as opposed to the Tribtoos). I have never ever had a twinge of pain, and I don't really spend the night feeling like I'm walking on tightropes. I wear them to work all day, they're one of my favourite work shoes in fact. Sorry my praise is a bit OTT but they're pretty awesome heels.

Whatever2 - if you get the lower version of the original tributes you won't find any more comfortable heels.

Just got the black patent sandals - here with my entire tribute collection.

^Those sandals are to die for! Maybe I'll see if I can dip into my savings a little bit :D

The tribute without the higher heel is just a shoe.
