Zac Efron: LACMA Gala to Honor Clint Eastwood!

Zac Efron suits up on the red carpet at the LACMA Art + Film Gala held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Saturday night (November 5) in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old actor helped honor J. Edgar director Clint Eastwood and artist John Baldessari at the event.


Proceeds from the gala will be used to support LACMA’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, while also funding LACMA’s broader mission.

Zac Efron attended an event that honored both Clint Eastwood and John Baldessari on Saturday (November 5) night. Zac Efron was among a boatload of stars that showed up at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for the LACMA Art + Film Gala event. This was a fundraising event for the museum as well as honoring two great artists, actor-director Clint Eastwood and artist John Baldessari.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Eva Chow hosted the event that had a long list of A-list attendees. Along with Zac Efron, there were such huge stars as Drew Barrymore, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Steve Carell and Will Farrell.

Zac showed up at the black-tie museum event wearing black on black… with no tie. Ok, so perhaps the star-studded event was black-tie optional or Efron did not get the message. Still, the ‘High School Musical’ heartthrob certainly turned a few ladies heads!

Taylor Swift & Zac Efron Talk About “The Lorax” In New Clip



Taylor Swift and Zac Efron are opening up about their upcoming movie, “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax,” in a new behind-the-scenes clip from the animated film, which is set to arrive next year. Zac is the voice behind the optimistic main character Ted, while Taylor plays his crush, Audrey.

“Ted’s just your regular kid growing up, and he lives in a world in which there is virtually no nature,” the 24-year-old says in the clip.

“Audrey has these impossible dreams,” the country singer explains about her character. “She dreams of things that are gone. Trees have been long forgotten.”

Danny Devito, who voices the Lorax, and Betty White, who plays Ted’s Grammy Norma, also appear in the new video. Check it out below and get ready for the movie to open in theaters on March 2.

Zac Efron Helps Hometown Teens In Need



Fans of Zac Efron know that he keeps a busy work schedule and never has much down time. However, he did make time to head back to his hometown of Arroyo Grande, CA, for the Thanksgiving holiday. While there, he made a surprise appearance at a local charity and did his part to help some teens in need.

KCOY.com is sharing the story of Zac Efron stopping in at the Teen’s Closet to donate some of his old clothes. Teen’s Closet is part of the larger Children’s Resource Network of the Central Coast and just opened a few weeks ago. The facility aims to give teens in need a place where they can find fashionable clothing. The organization is the vision of Lisa Ray, who is working hard to help teens become aware that some of their peers are homeless.

In growing the non-profit over the past couple of years, Ray has started Teen’s Closet to help disadvantaged and homeless teens find clothes that they feel comfortable wearing. She believes that when they have the opportunity to have decent clothing, they will be teased less and will be more likely to stay in school. Having someone like Zac Efron stop by to donate some of his old clothing sounds like a fantastic way to spread the word about the organization and help the area’s disadvantaged youth.

As Zac Efron shows, Thanksgiving isn’t all about turkey and football. Taking a few minutes to help and donate both time and some personal belongings is a great way to show his teen fans what he is all about, and perhaps help spread Lisa Ray’s vision a bit further
