It's crazy in Zara. I had to wait in line for 20 minutes to try clothes on and additional 15 to buy them!
I bought TRF 2 for one price shirts.
I couldn't find pics on the net, but one of them is black with short sleeves and it says "Paris moi" and the other is long sleeved stripey light brown & white shirt.
I got them for 30lt! (about 10 euros)
And actually the discounts aren't that big - only about 15-30%.

I went to my local Zara this weekend. It was packed! I wanted a couple of items but left empty handed because the line to pay was ridiculous!!!

To be honest though I didn't think the sale was that great, most of the stuff was only 10 - 30 % off. My boots were almost half price though, I'm so happy!

the zara sale is pretty much always a let down! i realistically only snap pieces in the sale cos i need them, in other words sale or not i would get them

I know the feeling, i had my eyes on a studded blazer that was gone in seconds! I usually do zara sales for the shoes!at least the prices doesnt disappoint

i may be alone in this but i thought the sale wasn't that bad... i saw many items 50% off (i got the suede thigh high boots ) and i saw that silk blouse everyone was raving about 40% off...

Zara sales weren't really sales. I saw this one pair of jeans for $60, and then during boxing day it was priced regular as $80 and on sale ofr $59.99 haha.

The different stores seem to stock different t-shirts. I was looking out for their printed t-shirts but sizes were impossible to find. I usually by S but could only find M.

What's with the store help at Zara at Oxord Circus - they need an attitude check! So rude! I felt like i was being dealt with so rudely at the changing room. :-/

I have my eye on this jacket although it's not warm and will only be good when its slightly warmer.

Thanks Ievut it was £40, not bad at all for the price. I bought a boyfriend jacket in black leather as well but don't have pics yet.

^^yeah the staff there are amazingly rude i think. i was once shoved by one of them as i was looking at something and i gave her a mean old stare and she just said im trying to hang stuff up. i just said no i think you're trying to drive aways customers. and i left everything in my hand and said well done and left.

once i saw a lady who was talking to the manager about it and the manager seemed like she could care less

it looks like garbage store not clothing store

i think people that works there cant be thrilled with that attitude...-and im not saying that u are like that-im just saing its like that there -so those sellers must be under enourmous stress...

Two times a year I really despise working in retail-
1) Sales
2) Inventory
any of those two and I promise you I will not be the happiest person while walking the floor. You can only tuck tags and make sure all folded merchandise is 25 pieces or less enough times before you snap on someone, mainly a customer.

i visited my zara store last night. there were a lot of sale items. but they were mostly coats and spring sandals that failed to sell 6 months ago.

i waited in a large line for a price check for a pair of shoes. they were missing tags. the cashier didnt know how much they were. she asked another cashier and the cashier guessed 70$. sorry, im not going to buy something unless i know exactly how much it is. not what one random cashier-person guesses. i'll wait until they retag the item.

i brought another jacket to be pricechecked that was missing a tag. i asked for just the price and the cashier looked it up and said "that will be 199, cash or charge"? she rolled her eyes when i told her i just wanted the price.

they could avoid all these problems and long lines if only they'd properly tag the items. also its against the law not to have the price properly displayed.

also there is no place to try on shoes at my zara store. i took a jacket and a pair of shoes to try on in the dressing room and the attendant told me i was not allowed to bring shoes in. i asked her where in the store i could sit down and try them on. she fianlly agreed to let me bring the pair of shoes into the dressing area as long as the curtain was wide open.

zara is the only store ive seen where this is no seating area in the store whatsoever to try shoes on. its ridiculous.

Agreed, the staff in the Zara I go to at least are completely useless. They're all really young and just stand around chatting all the time, I asked 3 different girls for a pair of shoes in my size and all of them claimed there weren't any left without checking the stock room. Eventually someone did look and tadaaaa there they were

I had this feeling earlier. I wanted to try on a pair of the blue boots,but there is absolutely no where to try them on,and I didn't want to try them on for size in a busy store standing up,when my balance isn't great at the best of times.

As for the staff issue,it's pretty unfair to lump all Zara staff in the same bracket of being rude. Anyone who has ever worked in retail will know it's not always a bed of roses,and even the nicest of sales assistants have limits.

Does anyone know if sales start the 7 of january or sooner in Spain? Because an assistant from Blanco int told me that they start the 2 of january... so I was wondering if Inditex will join them or wait till the official date instead.
