my new shoesies! 109 LT.. something like 30GBP? found one pair of IM knockoffs in my size but they ran very small... couldnt get them. sigh. the sale is pretty good here, yay!

Ooh I tried those IM knockoffs as well, they were teeny tiny! Larger size was sold out unfortunately :c Love your wedges!

got the leather pants today for 60$!!! i'm so happy!!!

Wow reading the comments about zara staff, brings back memories! I worked for zara for 4 1/2 yrs and trust me come sale time you just want to kill customers, most of them are rude and unappreciative. I had customers actually throw shoes and clothes to my face! Don't get me wrong, some customers don't deserve the rudeness, but some do! And for SA's telling customers that "what is there, is whats left" is what we were told to say, so like this you spend less time doing checks and more time cleaning and replenishing the floor.

And the tag issues is usually because customers that tags from less expensive tags and to try to have the lowest price possible, or sometime it's just the simple fact that it get ripped or ends up on the floor! best bet is to ask a manager Or an SA with a little machine on their hips (which is the pricing device) and they will help you (its also in their best benefit)

Wow! I didnt think that there were so many people with the same complaints. Seriously, even the staff at H&M have been nicer to me!

I went to the Zara at the Westfield mall, London the other day and the man at the gate told me very rudely - "we are closing in 20 minutes." They way he barked at me - I don't even know why I entered the store. Next time round, I will definitely give it back to them for being so rude. Listening to everyone else's complaints I feel like desserting the store all together. I may as well spend my money elsewhere!

Haha, I want to add to the customer service complaints too! One time I was looking for a specific blazer, which according to the SA had already sold out. I asked if any more would be coming in stock, and he just said "probably" without even looking at me. Then I asked when I should expect it to come in, and he just said, "I don't know, just keep coming back to the store to check." HELLO? I am a full time student have other things to do than to go to Zara everyday.

so much good stuff on sale right now! i finally found the leopard coat but it didn't really fit my hips well. too bad.

i did get a gorgeous silk button up blouse with pockets in the front for $60 (down from $100). my only issue is that every single one on the floor had 1 or 2 small snags due to the delicate material, and zara doesn't mark down for damaged merch. i got it anyway because i loved it so much. sigh.

keep in mind that items in the zara stores in the USA are priced at twice the cost of the items in spain and europe. its expensive.

if the items are super expensive i expect decent customer service. and thats that. im not expecting barneys or saks level customer service. just normal friendly service.

i dont think its expecting too much.

also i had a sales assistant at zara pretend that the store wasnt able to look items up via number (ie. the special code on the tag). luckily a manager interceded.

I live in Europe and the sales people in Zara have most of the times been nice to me and helpful.
Strange the bad experiences you all had :s

k?

A SA probably has no idea when a item will be shipped out to the store. And if Zara works anywhere near remotely similar to where I work, managers won't even know until it comes in. The best they could do was get a contact number for you and plop a sticky note on the register if that.

I wish I worked at Zara though. The free suit and other bonus items just sounds so nice.

hmm I've never had problems with Zara's customer service. They have always been helpful and friendly to me..

I never had any bad experiences with the staff at Zara, either. But then again, most of the SAs in my Zara are super nice gay guys and they're always happy to help

However, the sale here was pretty disappointing, too. I was hoping to find cute shoes, but I didn't like any of the ones I saw. Oh well, sale at Zara usually gets better after a few weeks. So there's still hope.

Haha where are all you guys from?! I work in Zara and none of our staff are like that whatsoever....we did win store of the year last year out of all zaras ;)

As for the not having anywhere to try on shoes...you are actually allowed to go into the fitting room to try them on any sales assistant who says you aren't allowed is lying.

i dont know maybe its just coincidence that when i go to the lower oxford street store i always have somewhat of a bad experience. i have never had that kind of experience in the regent street store or zara in austria, switzerland, turkey, france and spain!

didnt mean to say that every store has such stuff!

I was supposed to head to the one in place molard close to my house in geneva, but theres horrible wind and rain im scared of getting blown over haha!

^urgh I know, I really want to go cos I need to find something for New Years, the stupid dress I ordered ages ago hasn't arrived yet! :( Too cold and crummy though, I'd have to walk to the station. Eeep I'm still tempted though!

99% of stores in spain start sales the 7th right after the 3 wise men holiday (like xmas again) blanco for some reason doesn't but it's the exception. I think it was because of the economy a couple of stores could start the sales earlier, but i'm not sure. Any way i'm pretty sure zara in spain starts sales the 7th.
