hm, one designer bag costs at least a thousand euros, so you would have to buy at least ten zara bags per year ... I never like ten bags in a year, not even designer bags.

Not if your designer bag lasts more than a year. If it last 5 years, it's only equivalent to 2 Zara bags per year. If it last 10 years, it's equivalent to buying one Zara bag per year.

The thing about designer, is that it has longevity - beyond that it's usually better made than some high street items. Well, unless it's really trendy or you change your mind - but, then you could also try to resell it and probably get a higher percentage of the original price than with a Zara bag. Another issue, is like with me and others, the high street item does simply not satisfy our craving and eventually we'll buy the designer anyway - after maybe 5 high street ones... :(

My recent purchases: narrow leg Studio trousers and Camouflage jacket

And I am still waiting for that red bag

That's true. I think it's the idea of paying all of that at once that scares one (me) off. Buying high street bags, it's similar to making a split payment making it not seem as much money when it ends up being a lot.

I think I buy around 8 bags a year usually between the price range of 60-160 euro.

Wow, the bag is even more beautiful 'in real'. Thank you for the pic, Grasshopper! :flower:

Exactly. That's why I stopped buying high street bags - still buy clothes and shoes though. It is scary to pay so much money up front, but I like classic designs anyway so as long as I take good care of the bag - it should last a while. On the other hand, for some reason I lose interest in a lot of my high street bags after purchasing them. With that said, I do think it's totally possible to find high street bags that you just totally love for years as well. The problem is distinguishing between when it's a fleeting infatuation for a cute bag and one that you'll just love more for each use .

i think the bag looks classic enough that you'll keep using it throughout the years until it wears down.

its as in as it will ever be out.

I think she meant to say that it looks more expensive than it is?

^LOL, I think so too.

Well. I've decided to keep the bag because I accidently lost my visa and Zara has this ridiculous policy of only accepting returns with the card you purchased with... :innocent:

If that isn't a sign then I don't know what is:p

It's a really nice-looking bag and I don't think you'll get bored of it anytime soon so good buy:flower:. Was it available in more colors than nude?

^I know right?

I only saw it in the nude, but I didn't really browse the store as I was in a hurry. It does exist in the orange-red colour on the website (of the Danish online store) so you could order it to the store. It's free and you can always change your mind.

I don't know if I should buy anymore bags:blush:

I did see other bags of theirs in orange and the shade looked very nice. It was very bright and fire-y if I remember it correctly.

I think the colour looks nice (on pics) however, my concern is that it's a very "trendy" colour for my taste. I think, I would probably get tired of the colour after a while.

On the other hand, I saw this really bright yellow clutch - I think this was it:

And it looked really, really cool. But... I couldn't reach it so I wasn't meant to have it . It was this pic which started my craving for a bright-coloured clutch - especially, the yellow clutch.

Blue is in fashion this year

Today I got a couple of things to cheer me up, and although I was looking for shoes and bags I ended up getting other things. I also got a black and white polka dot tee but I couldn't find the pic...I really like all my purchases and can't wait to wear them. :flower:
