lily. - Lina5 is right, there is a slight difference between S and M, but that should not bother you too much - I think this skirt would look great even if it falls a bit lower on the waist or, as Lina said, you can always use the belt :flower:

Thanks, Lina5 and lola rose, I think I will just try my luck with the medium. If it's too big, I can always sell it on eBay :)

I think a tailor can fit it perfectly if you really like it. that's what I do with a lot of my clothes.

i've turned my back from zara for the past 2 seasons and this spring, i've rekindled the affair.

i got the ff yesterday

navy trousers - (i wear with the cuffs folded, as in capri)
denim wedge shoes - love the color combo, denim part is very stiff
prada-esque blouse - polyester... great fit, material is "ok"
blue checked shirt - (LOVE) - viscose

i love their store now. so many color blocking stripes. so many great colors in general. its prada party there right now.

they also covered the white trend. if its not prada stripes its wang whites.

I was watching them in my store, but after seeing that the material is PU ...

Bought this pleated skirt today, I was watching it for a couple of weeks and it just had to be mine.

I got these pink pants and loose pink tee the other day, great for spring .

I also got these cute ballerina's (on the right), not really comfy but they're so pretty and go well with the pants ^_^.

They're actually a nude colour, not as dark as they appear on my pic :ermm:.

Just ordered my first purchase from Zara.
Are their UK sizes cut accurately? Like is an XS actually an XS as in a UK 6? Or do they vanity size?

x

The sizes are pretty true to size for me. I'm a UK 6 and I always take a size XS or EU 34. It's never too small for me that I have to go up a size but if anything, they do run smaller than bigger. They do not do vanity sizing. Thanks goodness.

^ I agree with you. Zara sizes are either true to size most of the times, or they run smaller sometimes, never vanity!! I am a UK10 and my Zara usual size is an X.

imo, sizes run smaller. especially for tops and shirts.
is it just me or everything is just too short? dresses and pants and tops...

and p.s. i thought zara has bad quality bags... they i bought lollipops bag only few days ago. and it already looks like it is falling apart and the price was twice as another one i saw in zara...
