Zara #4

Thanks, all :flower: Yeah, I'm trying to work up the nerve to take it back - I absolutely -hate- this type of situation (then again, who doesn't...). I'll bring the tank top with me when I go so I have proof of what happened. Luckily I got rid of the green on the bag almost completely, there's only some fairly unnoticeable bits left on the seam of the handle. If the bag had been ruined as well, I would've been really pissed off, as it is handmade and was given to me as a gift by the person who made it.

I know some people would say that you get what you pay for, but I really don't shop at Zara (or anywhere else) to buy stuff to wear only once or twice and then throw away, I shop there because that's what I can afford at the moment.

ohmyy, unless you want to dye the t-shirt, probably no way to bring back the original colour... Maybe see if you can return it?

not long ago, i brought a cardigan back to the gap after wearing it once and have it leave threads and fuzzies all over a cashmere dress. they took it back quickly without comment. thats their policy.

if you live in the EU they MUST take it back. its the law.

if you still feel nervous take your parent or another man with you. i've found that in boutiques and stores that sales assistants give much faster/better service to men.

I know that I am probably SOL, but I am desperately searching for the floral tulip dress in a small or even a medium. Can anyone help a girl out?

Thank you!

^I'm in the same position. There were several mediums left last week in the Zara store on 5th avenue.

the sale started here on canada! anyone find any good deals? By the way do they have stock come in just for the sale cuz there seems to be older items available when i went.

^Every store has a normal stock and a rotation stock. During the year, the clothing that does not sell enough is moved to the rotation stock to make place for new stuff. Sometimes the store get to send some items from the rotation stock to other stores. But the stuff that is still in the rotation stock at the end of the season and that hasn't been sent away during the year, will be put in the store again during the sales, that's why you find old items back in the store again. Also, the store receives rotation stock from other stores.

wait define rotation stock and normal stock. seems kinda self explanotory but I'm not following.

Rotation stock is clothes that don't get to sell in one store pass to another. So you don't see all the old clothes that din't sell in the same store.

I can't wait for the sale! I hope this goes on sale because I really want it!

The sale doesn't start on the same day in every country- it'll be in line with when sales start in each local market.

but it's usually within the same week that sale starts in different countries, as far as i remember from the last couple of years....

The sale already started the 16th - both online and in stores in Denmark.

@ Red Sole, that coat is not on sale atm. It's under new collection for now, so it might not go on sale or at least not until towards the end. Might be on sale in stores, if that differs from online.

Sales have started very, very early this year. I read that due to the recession, people have just not been buying as much so the shops have to start earlier to boost their sales figures.
