Chanel Couture Vanilla Wool Boucle and Silver Brocade Suit
French, early 1960s
Sleeveless dress with slightly fitted abstract geometric brocaded crepe bodice, front princess seaming, multi-pieced yoke fitting up and down at waistline, surplice closure with four lozenge self covered buttons, bias binding at neck and armhole, quadrant wool boucle skirt with additional side seam at bodice closure, matching boucle cardigan jacket lined in brocaded crepe, long shaped sleeves, patch pockets at hem, neck, front edges, hem and pockets trimmed with bias bands of brocaded crepe, tab banding at sleeve hems, narrow brocaded crepe tie at waist, skirt and jacket sleeves lined in creme silk pongee, size 4/6, labeled: Chanel and tape label 18978.
Good condition, underarm lining damage to silk pongee

Chanel Couture Gold Brocaded Lame Dress Suit
French, mid 1960s
Sleeveless, fitted bodice with multi exposed darts from waistline front and back, accented with metallic gold soutache, modified jewel neckline with center V-notch with soutache tie, softly shaped skirt, multi darts trimmed with soutache, hemline banding of metallic gold braid embracing silk floss and sequins, cardigan jacket edged with same braid, buttonholes accented with gold soutache, starburst gilt-metal filigree buttons backed with lame and also at sleeve hem, creme silk gauze lining channel stitched to both garments throughout, size 4/6, labeled: Chanel and tape label 22155.
Good condition, lining damaged at underarm.

Chanel Couture Black Alpaca Twill Late Day Ensemble
French, early 1960s
The sleeveless dress fitted and shaped by side panel seaming which breaks out to inverted pleats at hem, shallow U-neckline, center front closure with six self covered square buttons adorned by antique gold caps, armholes and neckline edged with black silk satin binding to tie at neck, black narrow silk satin sash at waistline, the double breasted demi fitted coat with princess seaming at front and same narrow side panels, same buttons at front closure and hem of shaped long sleeves, shirt collar and front facings of black silk satin, lined with black silk pongee, size 4/6, labeled: Chanel and tape label 20428.
Very good condition, hems not original.

Chanel Couture Autumnal Mohair Plaid Coat Dress
French, 1960s
Modified chemise with shaped central panel running from shoulder to hem indented at low waist point, with decorative hammered gilt-metal lions head at waist and hip level, jewel neckline with central V-notch, buttoned back half belt, shaped long sleeves with buttoned vents, coral grosgrain trim one eighth inch edge around neckline, front panel and wrists, lined with creme silk gauze, size 4/6, labeled: Chanel and tape label 19977.
Very good condition, interior discoloration and underarm wear.

Chanel Style Tweed Jacket and Dress Ensemble
European, 1960s
Duck egg blue and gray glen plaid, boxy jacket with four flap patch pockets, tapered sleeve with buttons at wrist, softly bloused bodice in porcelain blue and metallic gold matching jacket lining, interior gilt-metal chain, skirt with center back seam and with one side front seam with slit at hem, two button slits at abdomen, gilt-metal and blue enamel lions head buttons, size 8, no label.
Excellent condition.

it's amazing how the only impression i've had of the ever so iconic coco chanel, is all those remarkable quotes that are scattred around TFS.

that's enough for me- even the slighest influence is an honor
