My personal favorites so far are Amanda in Givenchy, Anne in Chanel, Julianne in Tom Ford, and that's pretty much it. To be honest, this year it overall seems a little lackluster. There's nothing that's "wow" material.

Agreed there was nobody who really stood out or really made a statement, it was all just "pretty". I would have loved to see say Keri Washington in a Givenchy HC gown from the last show or someone in a downright sexy Pucci gown, it was all so plain.

I love Claire and she does look amazing but the dress is sooo boring. I would love to see her in something different on the red carpet.

She's playing her promo tour flawlessly, a bit annoying but ehh... She wasn't that great in those 15 minutes she had in Les Mis, but she has it all going for her, America's Sweetheart, the summer box office, the acclaimed award season role, she's singing, she shaved her head, been around for a bit and it's not lead actress just supporting.

so far pretty underwhelmed by what i've seen apart from cotillard's bespoke dior dress. but no one really stood out to me. even when they try to take a risk it looks disingenuous,lifeless and contrived. i really miss tilda at these ceremonies.
