I guess Gucci Premiere is the label everyone will wear this year. Do you remember Lanvin mania from a few years back? I remember Natalie Portman wearing about 10 variations of the same ruffled dress.

Kate Beckinsale - You really are going to wear a new pinky-white sparkly gown everyday aren't you Great job at cheapening the image of Cannes.

Aishwarya Rai - Ohhh a dark purple gown, what a stretch for her Not sure why she picked a dress which shows off her unattractive shoulders and arms.

Michele Yeoh - A frothy lemon disaster. It even leaked into her hair I see.

Salma Hayek - On someone like Eva Longoria this would look cheap but she is so damn good looking and confident in herself that it works.

Camille Belle - A potentially great, modern look, but hampered by a hairstyle which does nothing, and generic make up.

Carey Mulligan - Love the new hairstyle. Not in love with the bad 70s dress.

Naomi - Finally something which doesn't scream 'Golden Globe'. Cannes needs more of this. Hair is a bit off for me.

Diane Lane - I don't know who she is, and her dress is not telling me anything about her. Forgettable, bland, bad hair, cheap looking. Black isn't her colour.

Ugh, Carey tries way too hard for my taste, she seems to be getting her looks from Bazaar's 'Chic at every age' or one of those corny articles on how to channel French/chic looks. I wish she was more spontaneous about it, less cartoon-ish, she's such a charming girl.

So nice to see Diego Luna and Benicio Del Toro in the premiere, too.
