Cate Blanchett in Alexander McQueen blows me away and reminds me how amazing he was even though i thought i already knew this fact. She looks like a Queen yet always perfectly edgy. The white suit is amazing also.

Suhzie, I agree. Loved like two or three outfits, but I don't think it's going to get better. I heard that they were toning down the glamour in respect to the cinephiles. I guess that's why a lot of films starring high-profile actors were turned away in favour of independent films and obscure titles.

Most of the dresses/gowns are horrible!

If i were you i would enjoy being able to see the fashion and stuff on this spot and go to Cannes when the festival isnt on.
Its INSANE in Cannes when this is going on!
I do reccomend visiting the riviera, just window browsing is enough to make you want to marry an ugly millionaire just so you can buy Chanel.
