Im doing my application for latymers VERY late, but anyone have any good ideas i can put into my 1 page essay for why i want to go to their 6th form??

have a look at www.thestudentroom.co.uk they might have some information about it. i used to live on that forum during GCSE time. Am heading back that way no university applications are off!

what are you planning on doing at 6th form?

i do biology, maths, chemisty, history, general studies - its compulsary, don't do it - it is the dullest hour of the week!

mmh i am doing a levels; art, photography and english lit. hopefully doing a foundation art and design next year.

slightly panicked about personal statements really.

I'm in the process of choosing my A-Levels and colleges. I think I'm going to go with the Sixth Form route....it seems a lot more structured. I'm going to take English Lang, Media Studies, Business Studies and Art/Design Textiles, we have to take General Studies too.

^^^ warning textiles is alot of work most of which unless you have unlimeted materials etc. you wont be able to do at home.... just a thort. i am only teaching you from my mistakes.

It does look really hard, but the school provide a lot of the materials and you make a lot of them yourself. Plus, I'm only doing it to AS and not A2.
