I managed to find some acid wash jeans in h&m .. £10 bargin .. but weridly enough they havent made it to the adults bit yet.. in my local anyways .. not sure if this is a good thing or not :ninja: haha

The ones from Habitual are great. Does anyone know where to buy them online? Thanks.

I think the term "acid-wash" is being used very loosely here.

The ones in #31 (Fergie) are more of a tie-dye bleach effect.

The ones in #42 and #43 are what I would call bleach effects.

The second picture in post #1 is the closest to what acid-wash meant when it was introduced in the 80s. Very fine-grained, splattery looking bleach effects; no big spots or streaks.

I think the Habitual bleached jeans look pretty good!

Would it be possible to change the title to Acid washed jeans/bleached jeans?:flower:

I dont know how to do it... maybe I dont have the rights even though Im the started of this thread...

yeah i was thinking the same thing, those tye died ones really aren't acid wash. acid wash is much subtler (although equally as obnoxious :) )

no no no guys, like tangerine said, the awful ones pictured are tye dye bleached or stone wash! acid wash is different.

i just got myself a pair of dark grey acid wash jeans from topshop after obsessing about finding these for ages, and they're fantastic. they fit amazingly, super skinny yet very soft. they're a lot like the cheap monday ones pictured except darker.

For reference, here are some acid-washed Levi's circa 1987:
