iam a stylist based in dubai and i started with posts of my outfits and some friends as well and now expanding into covering style&fashion in middle east and the world of course.
there aren't many fashion bloggers in middle east and i think it will be interesting for people to find out more
i know most people think that everyone is covered up and backwards here so it will be great to dispel that myth

I have been blogging for about 7 months now and Rock.The.Trend. average about 1000+ readers a day. The thing is, wordpress doesn't allow ads, so I don't get revenue.
I started Let.Them.Rock. in blogger like a week ago, and I'm thinking of ways to publicize it.
So what are the ways to 'promote' a blog?

If you want to have ads on your Blog, the only solution will be self host - You actually can't have ads because you are on the wordpress.com system - So buy your own Url, then install wordpress on it, then you will be able to have ads and revenue

The revenue can start as well by CPM - which means cost per mile, its the cost you will earn or someone will pay you every time you have 1,000 viewer - so if an Ad pay you $5 cpm and you 5000 visitor/day you will earn $25 per day...

Not to be picky but CPM actually stands for "Cost Per Thousand"...in which the M stands for thousand as in Roman script. And before anyone gets too excited the $5 CPM is a great example but the majority of CPM fees are way below that.

you are right but Mille means thousands in French and you can also call it cost per mille ( see wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cost_per_mille ), I learn Ads strategies when i was Back in Paris - i should think more English, my bad
And $5 CPM is acceptable when you start to have at least 5 to 7 thousands hits a day, we are at $10 CPM- but that was just an example

I know this is slightly off-topic, as there is another thread on blog design, I just wanted to mention one little design advice:make your background image fixed so it won't be disturbing to the content when you scroll

Not shure what your previous one was... and I don't see a background image now? But the layout looks good though

Looks good in my eyes, only thing is that you should turn off "snapshots" if you can, they are maaaajorly annoying!!!
