Models usually are more beautiful than actresses, anyway.

I like models but ask people who arent interested in high fashion Gemma , sasha ,Lily.C or Natalia or even Kate VS amanda Bynes Lindsay Lohan Angelina Jolie Aishwarya Rai most mainstrem people would pick the seond group.

Models in my experience have not had a good rep with people who arent interested in fashion. I showed Jessicas Stams most beautiful picture to my friend and she still thought she was ugly.

One of my friends even went as far to say that she didnt like models because they were ugly. And trust me she thinks Kate is ugly.. as she does Gemma and Lily Cole.

^^ in reply to the post you quoted... i don't think either models or actresses are more beautiful. i think they are both beautiful. they just have different forms of beauty. but i do agree with kristina... i think people who aren't involved in fashion or interested in it, they find actresses to be more appealing than models. and i think those kinds of people make up the majority. models tend to be pretty.. in odd sort of ways.

but geesh kristina how can your friends not find jessica stam pretty? i always thought she would appeal to most kinds of people. she's gorgeous.

its so odd when i was in india i couldn't believe how much her and shah rukh are EVERYWHERE! every town, village, street theres pictures of them advertisinmg stuff and on all the shops the ads for Pepsi. is so mad. i was in the remotest village in the middle of nowhere with about 100 people living there and when i went to the tiny kiosk, there was Ash!

I think that models (most models) seem to have very plain faces, that save for good skin and sometimes well defined bone structure, really show nothing too memorable or striking.

I guess it's not so much a model vs. actress thing as much as it's whose-face-seems-beautifully-striking?

I hated Ash's Cannes look, and I absolutely love her usually. The dress was bland, the eyeshadow ruined her stunning eyes, and her hair was all wrong. In my opinion she is the most beautiful woman in the world, but she definately didn't stand out on the red carpet. I preferred her look at the Hotel, the dress was beautiful and I preferred her make up and hair, but still not at the standard that we are used to seeing from Ash.
Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of hers, so no-one can get at me, I just personally really didn't like her look on the red carpet.

Who is that woman in orange in post 655 (of the French Tennis Open)? She looks like the French Miss Universe candidate but I'm not sure. She's beautiful.

Regarding Aishwarya, I really love how she looks in 656. Less eye makeup and more natural and yet somehow much more stunning. WOW.

I don't get why some think she's the most beautiful human. She is not bad looking at all but she's not drop dead gorgeous...at all.

I think the reason she is appealing to so many people, no matter what race, is because she doesn't look like any race in particular. I'm Indian and from visiting the country a lot and talking to other Indians, they seem to love her looks primarily because she doesn't look typically Indian- light skin, colored eyes etc. She's a beautiful and unique looking woman. I don't think I can name anyone who looks like her but I don't think she's "perfect" looking. Then again, I think "perfect" is pretty boring. Her fashion sense is definitely not perfect and I don't mean that in a good way
