oh wow. Why do I ever expect anything from Alexander Wang? With the exception of a couple of the dresses and a shirt or two, I find this all quite horrid. I mean - wtf? He's been doing the leather/oversized/bicycle short/legging thing for ages and not only is it nothing new, but it doesn't even look flattering on the models. Nothing looks oversized in a chic way. It looks oversized in a 'I just got this from Value Village for $2' type of way. I'm disappointed.

^ ageed! some of these outfits (partic. the bike shorts) aren't very flattering on the figure, even on a model. it's not looking good for the rest of us!

I thought I was going to like it based on the very first pictures but now I just feel disappointed. He gets worses every season.

I'm disappointed. After last seasons genius collection this just doesn't compare.

I guess this is what a recession does to an up-and-coming designer. He has to stay afloat; even if it means losing his edge.

Thats my problem with this collection. It's missing that very Wang-Wasson edge, don't you think?

in my own personally taste it doesn't really suit me.
I do think it's better than spring summer though. this collection is more mature than what wang has previously done.

There are a few gems in here, and I don't even mind the bike shorts in all instances. However, while going skimming through, my first impression was ''cheap". So much of this looks depressingly tacky and slightly hip-hop devoid of irony. Last F/W was beautiful because the Manolo's were stunners, the clothes made sense, and the entire styling was so tough and effective. This is just silly. How he of all people managed to make cheesy crocodile is beyond me.

At least it's better than the last season...

I like jackets and some of the dresses, but tights are awful, esp the crocodile ones.
After first few pics I was sure I'll love it, but I got disappointed overall...
tequila shot would come handy now...
