I'm in new york right now, a loooot of people are wearing them @_@

some of the hoodies are cool looking...I couldn't bring myself to wear one.
have you seen the hoodies that zip all the way in half and you can buy another hoodie to mix and match...one side is a crazy printed yellow and the other half is a crazy printed green?

no..... what on earth are these?

the only person I could picture wearing these is Vanilla Ice.

Sorry.

you only have to walk into h & m atm to see these in trend voer kill seriously the place is full of them .. i actually spend ages the other day in town looking for a plain hoody .. damn high street :(

I second that, they suck imo. I think people see it as a 'safe' way of looking a bit different. But as everyone is doin it......

Too many emo hipsters are wearing those ugly BBC diamond/dollar hoodies(well here in Dublin) , they look like such fashion victims in them .

H&M rips smaller independent labels/brands for this particular trend soooo bad.

eg. BBC , Wood Wood , Stussy and MOB.

hipsters

Good examples of clothing lines that embrace this trend are Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream which are the two brands created by famed music producer/artist, Pharrell Williams and Nigo who is is best known for his brand BAPE ( bathing Ape) which has really developed into a life style he has coffee shop and even hair salons in Japan. Id say that those brands market towards the Hip Hop urban fashion scene....
while at the same time
this Trend has completely taken over the "Hipster" Indie electro pop music scene.. DJ's such Steve Aoki is a good example of someone who has taken this trend into his own clothing line and continues to make it popular by wearing them with bright 80's vintage shirts, skinny jeans and crazy nike dunks.

Anyone seem lululemon's new limited edition grid hoodie? It's really soft!

I believe the tag said $100 (canadian)

I can't believe they're selling it for $150 on ebay when you can go to the store and buy it for less lol

This is a very popular look right now. I like it because i feel there is something very cutesy and childish about it, especially when you see very tough guys wearing these hot pink hoodies covered in cartoon characters. Its sweet and just a little bit ironic.

I also like these on girls as well, though this trend seems to be more of a guy thing. I keep toying with the idea of getting myself a BAPE hoodie but I fear it might look a bit silly on me.

As far as I'm concerned BAPE & Ice Creame have the best versions of these hoodies. Though those Tokidoki ones are cute too. Some of the other labels don't get it right. I especially dislike the H&M copies, the prints never quite measure up.

I bought a few BAPE hoodies a few years ago, I liked them back then but now fakes have popped up everywhere, this is a trend that will fall off the planet quickly I think... I do love this triko hoodie I picked up though

Love those hooides *Jibrielle*, pinkvolvo, MFStephen... those are nice.

I actually am starting to see these hoodies quite often. They're very popular among those in the urban hipster art scene... I see them worn a lot by those attending the popular "lowbrow" art galleries (the galleries with a huge following of very young people, tend to show art by emerging artists, very fun novelty type showings).

I like the ones in more muted tones that seem to be graffiti-inspired... not a fan of the very loud prints. These hoodies have the potential to look very good or very bad, depending on how they are worn and who is wearing it (like everything else!). I saw some online at Urban Outfitters, so they are obviously becoming very mainstream.

Hahhahaha this made me laugh for real. A lot of the scene and emo kids at school wear these kinds of hoodies. If I'm gonna wear a hoodie, I'm gonna do it right and wear the big college hoodie and look like a hobo.

I wear hoodies to stay warm and those skinny, fitted hoodies don't provide much warmth lol.

Some people can work the trend but it's not for me.

love this trend...it's picking up quite a bit in LA...went to a MCR and muse concert and a lot of the kids have em'

EVERYONE wears these by me.. some of them are kinda cool. i did a little collage for my blog.
