I disagree with some comments. I don't think the t-shirts are cheesy. I don't think this is at all like Dior Homme. And I don't think the silhouette looks more relaxed; to me it looks like the silhouette she's been working with for a while.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to love this once I let it sink in for a while. But right now I'll just say that she's the only one so far to really make polkadots look cool. :P

Mmmm...yes, I like it more every time I look through it.

i think this looks really lovely. I agree with kuran on the blue jacket

to me seems lovely and comfortable wearing,
I'm taking these:

i like the knit pants...
i'd wear those...

but i wonder how many men will...

I like almost all the tops...except for the tees, but the bottoms are not my cup of tea...and the sneakers are truely hideous, who in the right mind would pay that much for a pair of trashed canvas sneakers... very fashion victimy :ninja:

It's funny; some of the individual pieces do look like Dior Homme, but I would never say that this collection is Dior Homme-ish. Somehow AD never looks pretentious to me, where DH does.

It's decent, but not the best. It doesn't look like Ann put a lot of effort in this, the way she does in women's collections. and, where are THE BOOTS?!

I took a more careful look, and there are definitely cool pieces. I love the cuts of the jackets. However, I wouldn't be surprised if this was done by a design team with Ann overseeeing it. Some references to the past collections, such as the feather in the white jacket, the strings hanging from a button in another one, the leather jacket is straight from the S/S 05, etc. It's definitely a bit less edgy, but still relaxed yet confident as a typical Ann collection would be.

I wonder what the music was?! Would she put Patti Smith in the all menswear show?

This is such a fun collection. It does remind of DH but I think it is just due to the use of color, youth, and that indie/sporty look Slimane has been doing. Slimane has no monopoly on that and Anne is clearly doing it in her own special way. I quite like this collection. To me it is very NOW. It doesn't reek of stagnant and boring cliches that plague menswear, especially this season. Best collection so far, I am hoping DH will beat her.

I like it alot, I surprised at how much colour there is!

I don't think it looks like Dior homme, may be the rock style. but Ann had been doing this forever, heidi is obviously inffluenced by her, not the other way around.

I like this, there are defintely pieces I would actually buy her as opposed to some of her other seasons. I think some of the menswear pieces from s/s 05 were just too "basic" especially this season, to warrant that kind of pricing. (excluding the leather, which I would buy if it were not so expensive)

The long jackets and peaked lapel blazers (especially the first long jckt and the grey peaked lapel blazer) really stood out to me.

I love this collection - my favorite so far. I think I like it because it's less edgy. It seems simpler then usual, and more colourful which I like. The jackets are superb. It's a relaxed and confident collection of clothes.

i like it though its definately not her best some of the sweatters are nice i think i'll buy those ands the trousers look interesting but for the most part i think i'll stick to wearing the womens clothes

the sneakers look a bit like the paint-splattered ones from MMM a few seasons ago. im liking the striped sweater very much.

pity ann d is no longer available here in singapore. aaww.
