the one from the new season? i love it, but if i buy another leather jacket my wife will shoot me. i think my next and "final" leather piece will be a CDiem leather shirt.

i think this collection will sell a lot more. it seems pretty accessible for safe-styling although i do get the "too spring/summer" vibes as well...

I know Bagutta in NYC used to carry it.. but now they are gone...

Last time I was there... Jeffrey's still carried a rack of her stuff as well.

I inquired about the pink sweater - $348 is the price. I'm definately getting it, hopefully they'll add it in another color, though. They'll be uploading the shoes too, you can see the distressed white sneakers from this season modeled with the pants. More items are supposedly coming in the near future.

Oooh, great. I'll probably be getting it too, then. I was kinda expecting it to be twice that.

Overall, the stock is pretty lame considering this is Ann D.

leather jacket made of kangaroo leather - $1994
stretch jacket - $1167

and those shoes, they only carry size 41-43.
unfortunately, i am a 39.

those jackets are pretty expensive i think...especially the stretch jacket

thanks, buckwheat. it's always nice to be back. nope, i didn't get the leather tagliaferri jacket, i'm afraid i'd have to more savings...

and to keep on topic, i was expecting the stretch jacket to be a bit lesser than that. probably i'll just wait and see for other options. i like the circular cut of the jacket though, should be easier to style with the baggy cropped pants or any other loose cotton-jersey pants...

seems to me aloharag's leather jacket version is different from the runway... aloharag seems to have that little extra flap that covers the zipper and on the runway it does not...

FOr a leather jacket under $2k... I think that is not so bad in pricing.. I mean.. I guess we can always wait for a little bit of discount no?!

I'm surprised that the leather jacket isn't more than that. The stretch jackets are about what I expected, though they really should be less considering the price of the leather. I really do want a blue one. No doubt they'll be sold out by sale time, at least in my size.

I am actually surprised that the leather jacket is not more expensive. Considering that a pair of kangaroo leather Poell boots costs $1450, this is not bad.

It's strange that the guys at A told me they didn't buy Ann's leather because it's so expensive (and it has been expensive in the past, approaching $3k), but this is withing their range .

I have to say Aloha's prices are pretty good, compared with the rest of the world. That black blazer is $1550 at Barneys .

P.S. It's interesting to see how the company is developing since it was bought over. The first stand-alone men's show resulted in two new stocks in NYC, IF and Barneys picked it back up.

I finally went in and checked them out......and now I want them very badly (in white because I think they will get wonderfully dirty very quickly as they are kind of nubuck-ish) Now I just need to hit higher sales so I can buy them with my commission check.......................
