Anna Nocon

If you're an Ana fan, Nylon Magazine's new "Paris" issue has a special feature about Ana and how she is such a fierce bargain shopper on the streets of Paris. The article talks about how she couldn't do the couture shows this past season because of an injured foot and that she lives in an apartment in the 17th arrondisement of Paris. There are accompnaying pictures of Ana shopping in various thrift shops and reccomending her favorite places to get a good deal. It's a cool read and a great issue.

I have that magazine too :)
It's cool to know that her everyday look is mostly vintage,
and she wears glasses!

Oh by the way, her name is spelled Ana and not Anna. So which is the correct spelling?

the correct spelling is 'anna', in polish language we say a-n-n-a not a-n-a. Ana ,in polish, doesn't exist. But foreigners speak ana like in fashion industry. Personally I would go bananas if someone go wrong to spell my name- anna is anna not ana! E.g. Anna J they pronounce 'ana'!!!!! That's ridiculous

What's the difference? sorry, i'm lost. And I'm called Anna!

and thank you for the pics, electricringo!

Yes. what's the difference between 'Ana' and 'Anna'. Is it a big pronunciation difference?

YES, it's a big pronunciation difference. Cos 'anna' has double 'n' and you utter double 'n'!!! It's diffrent name, if you say 'ana'. I don't know, maybe in your language or in english it doesn't matter how do you say but polish people don't like when someone change their name and I add to them. E.g I named you 'ana', how do you like, Anais?

I would like to say something. Hey, imo the difference between "Anna" and "Ana" isn't very important at tfs.... Well, I hate when I'm taking with sb in Poland and he says "Ana J.", or "Ana Nocon". It's just quite cramped for me when you use these shortcuts in Poland. Because we don't need it there! We should use our words and try to save them.

But hello! We are at tfs. Here are so many people. From so many countries, they have really different nationalities. They can call models how do they want. Have you ever been at the Eugenia thread? Eugenia is "Zhenya" and you can find a lot of different names. Is that normal? OF COURSE!

Imo you can call "Anna" in every way. You're a free person. I'll call her Anna and you'll call her "Ana". Isn't that simplier?
