Sorry for the double post, but Hoyeon’s absence from AW was confusing. They made EZ go red when there’s already Hoyeon with fiery red hair. A trio of Hoyeon, EZ, and Natalie would’ve been cool to see.

Agreed with both. Cong would too. Actually just about any models would have - the collection down to the hair and mood could be convey by most (hence the surplus of Asians). This season isn't the usual AWang show.

It's likely Sora and Sohyun (maybe Chunjie/Junli etc.) were all semi-exclusive. But NOBODY said anything on that matter, neither the models themselves nor their agency. Who knows.

Last nitpick and then it's done and moving on: EZ, Dipti, Yan Zhao, Sijia shouldn't worn shades like house fav. Issa/Binx (and Wangy/Luping/Shu Pei is a toss up). Looking back last page, that would look more reasonable, coherent and just look better IMO, given the other girls with similar look and the lineup. If it was like this, it would've been more palatable for me. Just my take.


Jing Wen one spot away from closing out Sies Marjan! She's their girl at the moment.

Great upgrade for Ralph Lauren, bravo! Kiko, Chu, Cong and incredible for Yue Han - she's the staple of the brand and glad to see Pfeiffer still having her back! Girls were beautiful. Just so fitting.

Their "token/one step at a time" Asian male model was a nice touch too! Jino Chun exude the brand to a T. Classic beauty.

Colovos and The Row this season have cast big models from the 90s-00s, yet I haven't seen an Asian model from that era come back (besides Shu Pei for AW and Hye Park for DVN two seasons ago). Any familiar faces you guys would like back on the runway?

I'd personally like to see Lakshmi Menon and Han Hye Jin make a comeback.

Heck yes! Du Juan, Hye Park, Han Hye Jin, Emma Pei, Lakshmi Menon, Mo Wandan, Lee Hyunyi, Lee Hye Jung, Ujjwala Raut and most definitely Ai Tominaga.

Ai is actually crawling out from hibernation and have done more fashion related work (Numero China/VJ/WWD) in the past couple months. She's back but slowly. Hopefully Tokyo FW.

But Ling Tan was the comeback of comebacks for Asian models (at AWang)! Arguably one of the most successful Asian models of the past century, like ever.

Let's have a Givenchy FW10 encore.

Lastly I'd love to see Sui He return to the runway. Like every season I'm thinking about that...
