As expected, Chiharu's the go-to Asian. Good for her, but really. So stale for the past few years.
Sohyun, Radhika, Heejung, Cong, Jing, Sora would all be fitting for YSL. Not sure as to why they don't see or feel Asian models/people could rock that kind of style/lifestyle.
Know this is just one show. Just a group of people. But this also confirm my suspicion of these folks in the fashion industry (even though I may not need to know them personally).
Happy to see Miki! Is there a reason why she only does PFW?
Perhaps they don't think Miki's ready yet? Or not much interest? Know that sounds ridiculous but don't know how to put it...
Plus she's not signed to London/Milan (whether that matter or not, IDK, but that could explain why)? Sure her moment will come.
It'd be interesting to see where she pops up next and different from last season.
Interesting to not see the traditional top Asian walkers (Hoyeon, Sohyun, Yoon Young, Cong) at Dior.
For me there should almost always be an established/top walker, like you said, at these big shows.
You have Binx/Selena/Edie etc. there but not Cong/Yoon Young/Estelle/Mona/Wangy (or Jing/Sora). But hey, we do have Hyunji! She covered that area IMO.
And Michelle's showing her loyalty to Miki for Dior, so this is always positive. Then we have newbies a chance to shine. I like the mixture too. (But yes, we could push the cast to six/seven girls with one of the top walkers, and it'd be better!)
