Think it's possible (though I fear that she may not walk LV - just because she didn't walk any Brokaw's shows thus far, doesn't mean she won't... but I feel the collection won't be for her? Hopefully wrong!).
I hope one day one of the top Asian walkers will be a South Asian (instead of a Korean or Chinese or Japanese). There's still a big lack of diversity within this "Asian" denomination.
Very true. But does the fashion industry and the folks within that sector even realise, care or even recognise that. Some progress in the past year or so, yes.
Would also add models from SE Asia too. If they have that 'it factor' like any top models then why couldn't they make it? Not sure how to put it but think we all know a reason or two why they can't unfortunately.
At the end of the day everyone won't be represented/pleased with what fashion churn out, whether it's models, celebs on covers, body imagery, the dialogue in fashion, beauty standards, etc. So guess we have to pick our battles, but we can change the scene and the future if we want to. Takes time, real effort and collectively.
