Balenciaga Resort 2007

I can't say I really like it. More pictures would help, but I'm lost on the 'mood' that is trying to be set. Both the beige pants and the gold pants are very nice, but the tops aren't quite so pretty.

thanks for posting! i didn't know balenciaga was doing a pre-spring collection.....
more pics please!!

I really like the pieces in those pictures, but yes, definitely more pics are needed!

I love it! :D its like the runway but dubbed down a little :D the shoes do look a little awkward, but the high volume heel is in, therefore it works

yea i believe they always do, but its low key. I know they had some amazing pieces from pre-spring at barney's nyc in chicago. it was really nice! :D

Hum .. seems very young and ... casual (as in street) ... I like the details.

they're selling pre-spring already!? i'd expect the pre-spring collection to be in stores pre-spring....not pre-fall...

Those shoes look interesting, I'm dying to see better pics of them up close.

I love it from what I can see so far. Very interesting ways of layering the clothes, yet altogether it still looks sophisticated, especially the first 2 looks, and not too casual.

so basically you'd have to be ritchie rich to be able to afford it. i'd like to see the frilly dress(?) buttoned up..

and i hate the shoes..

i love the outfits
i actually like the shoes..they seem more comfy than anything else i seen with heels..the lil platform looks cute

As someone who appreciates a little fantasy, in both life and fashion (provided no one follows with suggesting that they're one and the same :p), I prefer when designers leave something for the imagination, regarding the wearability of a garnment, instead of laying everything out on the dissecting table (so to speak) :innocent: All those dresses, unbuttoned and paired with practical separates... I want grandeur, I want flights of fancy - at the least, I want a half-baked delusion or two

^ that's such a beautiful post! i agree, balenciaga is at its best when it's unwerable.

but the way you wrote it, jennifer..karma!
