balenciaga experts...is this a work? i know so little about these bags but quite like the patchwork design, am waiting for arrival but it might be larger than what i anticipate. what season was this design produced? thanks in advance, there is something sublimely attractive about the color variety. like 1960's jelly belly's.

lucky, the patchwork leather is the first design the Sunday was produced. It's a really new style, I think it was either introduced last F/W or just this year.

Does anybody have any recommendations on cleaning of Balenciaga handles? I have been asked to look into for my sister-in-law!

You can clean them by putting them inside plastic bags containing corn starch and letting the leather warm up under a heating pad. Handles need to be totally covered in the cornstarch, try not get cornstarch in the rest of the bag, and keep an eye on the whole operation so that it doesn't overheat and scorch the bag. Really grimy handles may take a couple of treatments.

thanks very much. small sunday it is. the picture is deceiving it looks much larger. i adore the the patchwork so much... the bag seems to be a bit of a statement piece itself even with muted colors.

hi guys, i have a lot of designer bags but not a balenciaga yet :-(
I am thinking of buying the bag in beige, but still indoubt if i will buy the giant first or the classic city bag. I know the first is smaller.

I want a bag that is the best for using night and day. What would you advice? Are there specifics about this bag that i maybe not know e.g.??

it came out in 2008...i actually just got one of those bags in grey/light blue/pink...
some have stingray trim (where the black rectangle is on the pic you posted) and the straps buckle off...
it's not a very large bag, i think that style is 12x7x3 ish, there was a larger domed style that came in pleated nubuck (called plisse) and a camera bag style with a zip around top...

sometimes pieces pop up on bluefly or yoox every now and then...
