Balmain Mens S/S 2017 Paris

some outlandish piece that I could really wear in public :D Sounds good to me

What a nice surprise. Way better than usual !
Side not I'm surprised Kendall did not walk the show given she is in Paris. But I'm not complaining

In a way valentino buying this house seemed to influence it. I see hints of valentino in this collection.

So maybe i'm the only one who dislike this collection

Yeah i'm not feeling it either. It's hit or miss, but mainly miss. I need a video.

Also, i see he's captured Natasha in the #BalmainArmy.

So he can actually make good clothes. The last part is really good. I love Jon K's last look. Also, the casting is perfect.

Some looks and pieces are nice but as a whole this is a mess. Yikes.

i love it, the soundtrack is so powerful also ...really "uplifting" collection :)

So I know now whats wrong with his shows, "The show"
The styling is always off, the accessories are horrible(usually the shoes too), and the venue/stage never seems appropriate for the collections.
The clothes are actually really beautiful and incredibly well made.

Idk, i just feel its a bit tacky

It's like the same pieces (from previous collections), with different colors.
But, since I pretty much always like Balmain, I loved this. Especially the color palette.

His coloring book is vibrant, that I can give. But all the details are so frustrating, there's barely any proper portion in the whole collection. He should hire an expert in each field, sweater, jacket, pants and so on to learn the essentials. Seeing such a mass market doll production is not comfortable.

I actually like this. So much better than last season's.

Individually, the pieces look lovely. However, the way it was style could have been better.

Also, I would have taken out that jumpsuit with the crisscross print. It's not a flattering print imo

Not as bad as usual and actually look sexy, perhaps most of all, I love the cast, seldom we see women models and not pre pubescent these days. That said, the sequence is messed up, some kept a very close close distance to the one behind and some were ridiculously far lol.

That's is a collection that we can take serious. I like Balmain, I like what Oliver is doing for the house, even that I found very hard to wear Balmain. I don't know what you guys think but I in my mind I put him and Jeremy Scott in the same place: designers that at least are doing their job.
