Gucci Mens S/S 2017 Milan

I don't know what to think about it I think some other houses and designers have done a better job and compared to their runway and presentation so far...

People can compare this to Dolce & Gabbana or even Saint Laurent and Valentino but this is slightly different.
Michele's work, a part from his first collection, seems like being a part of a total collection. There's no differences from seasons to seasons...

D&G may be obsessed about Sicily but they still have distinctive collections: the food collection, the music collection, the baroque collection.
It's always about Sicily being linked to something special.

What was so special about the London Resort? The "Union Jack" sweater...:ermm:

Slimane was very one note with his style but "La collection de Paris" didn't looked like the "Punk" collection or his others 80's inspired collections...

I still buying it, but I wonder if we gonna still looking at the same thing in the following years. Michele is lucky because this weird-chic look is trending now and there is nothing exciting happening in this scale in fashion. If it was in late 00's Michele would be in trouble.

He always has a few killer coats in the collections, like the yellow trench and the turquoise mac here. Other than that it's really not interesting anymore.

It's interesting how Michele seems to go for the 'slow evolution' in order to create clothes that will stand the test of time, because to me this is all very trendy and I wouldn't wear anything twice. Therefore, it's not worth my money.

Another interesting thing is the decadence of it all and how Gucci and the whole fashion world seems to be pushing it at a seemingly wrong time. I know that we've grown tired of minimalism as an idea, but in this unstable economy and uncertain world, all I see around me is people who focus on understated, slightly elevated basics that don't scream 'money'.

Right, dodencebt , from the first moment Gucci was-and still is- pushing by many people, insiders, bloggers , byers, sellers and re-sellers ect.
Michele's Gucci is phenomen, maybe because of some kind of madeness which his all creations has. Quirky but with touch of elegance. Maybe because we are living in so instabil time the people want to have something like Michele's Gucci...
Gucci is not for wealthy women, and any wealthy men will not wear this kind of clothes but their teenie kids maybe...
Yes, of course , Gucci is very expensive but it is not Chanel which you can't buy in online stores, it is not ,for example ,Balmain which is really expensive but not desiderable such Gucci is ( or maybe it is simply my taste)
It is not ugly and very overpriced Vetements polyester dresses, hoodies and DHL t-shirts.

Yes, Gucci is different. I can't compare Michele's Gucci to D&G or Valentino or Saint Laurent. Not at all.
Michele's collections are similar but details and colour palettes are always different but it is not bad because some items and of course, shoes and bags are "timeless" in Gucci, exactly in Michele's Gucci era.
In Resort are many nice pieces.
I can't imagine myself wearing complete Gucci look,i don't like denim and trousers tailoring and the dresses he does are not mine, and, sincerely, some pieces are little bit expensive  but the Shirts and blouses are really beautiful. Pullovers are good. The shoes and bags and belts are beautiful.
Dolce&Gabbana, always same, i don't want to have printed spaghetti printed on my breast. Or the printed photos of italian towns. There were few good bloused in whole s/s 16 but of course exactly this good are sold out, the rest is to have.
Saint Laurent, i love it. I loved it when Hedi was at the helm.
