but they STILL had paul and joe and it's STILL not marked down......

walmart was also trying to pretend the metro 7 items were samples. they were advertising the pop up store as being part of a "sample sale"!

apparently the behnaz items are only going to be in stores for 60 days!

The collection arrives in stores in November. But don't linger. The collection will be in stores only through December. While other designers had a 90-day run, Sarafpour's collection will be in stores for only 60 days, because of the timing with the end of the year, a Target spokesman said.

still no behnaz stuff at my local target.
i wonder if target will take a break from go international after the holidays are over for a month or two. their stores are going to be flooded with marked down merchandise.

i hope they dont.

i just read in blackbook magazine that target is having an artists cooperative do some towels for them. (their other stuff sells at ABC home -fancy store in NYC)

if it has poodles on it, im buying it! it will be in stores in december.

did anyone buy any of the cynthia rowley "swell" stuff at target years ago? i bought underwear from that line. i doubt that will happen again as rowley and that other woman arent speaking.

i think that target will hire a well known designer next for the lingerie area. that department of target is sorely lacking.

Eh not too impressed honestly, some pieces (especially the dresses) stand out but nothing on the whole really :/

i just got the new issue of bazzar with natalie portman on the cover.

on the "great finds" page they show the velvet babydoll minidress and some leaf print top. theres a smaller pic of models and behnaz wearing the designs.

theres also a 4 page V+R for H&M ad also, for those that may be interested in that.

Does anyone know when the new line will "officially" be on target.com online? It appears all the Paul & Joe items are on sale online and it says "departing soon". I am dying to buy the Behnaz Sarapour stuff.

^It's supposed to be Nov 1st, but on the GO start page, it says P&J only has 6 days left from today...so the 29th? That makes sense - they always seem to make the releases on Sundays, so I've noticed. HTH!

I really like(d) a couple of pieces from Luelly and Tara Jarmon. I bought a pair of the black suspender pants from Luella, which I love, wish I'd bought 2 pairs. I get a ton of compliments on them, I think they're fun. I have 3 pairs of similar style jeans from the Tara Jarmon line. The jeans with the pretty ribbon details on them, 1 w/ purple ribbon, 1 w/ pink, and 1 w/ peach. I get a lot of compliments on those as well and they really make things look top notch on the backside. Bought the Luella's and first pair of Tara Jarmon jeans at full price then bought the next two pairs for $9 each. I try to wait for the sales now.

My only complaint is they run smaller then most other brands at Target, which I think only serves to make women feel fat. I usually wear a 1 or 3 in juniors (sometimes a 5) and had to buy the Luella's in a 7.

I saw the Rafe bags today, I really want the doctor bag. I like the shape of the hobo better, but alas it does not come in black. Wish I could get it but I'm really poor at the moment.

i think the rafe clutches are really nice.

some stores are planning on releasing the behnaz stuff on november 1 but others are releasing them on the 28th i guess.

i think the behnaz stuff will show up in a few days online.

i think there will be less items onsale for behnaz since the items are only going to be available for two months instead of three.

no worries amara, the go international sizing makes me feel fat as well.

This is what I don't understand...why aren't women's bottoms sized the same way as men's, in inches? That makes sense and would make our lives easier.
Don't let poor sizing make you feel fat, certainly not if you typically are wearing a 1 or 3 juniors!

I'm also looking forward to seeing what's released online. Come on, weekend!

I bought a Behnaz top a week ago at the Target in the Warner Center (visiting the family). it's a wierd combination in there. You have Nordstroms (with a much-expanded designer selection carrying proenza, chloe, lanvin and bigger designers), Zara, Target and H&M all in one place. Anyway, Target had several of the Behnaz pieces, but none of the minidresses yet. most of the lace and satin was poorly constructed and already fraying, but i could see some of it look cute on someone other than myself. i don't wear ruffles well.

i did buy a black cotton "tank" with lace cap sleeves though, paired it with a vintage skirt and got a ton of compliments all day. i have to say that i haven't been really nuts about any go international collection yet, but i hope it starts hitting its stride soon.

so nice to be able to buy cheaper things.

I've been trying to upload the high res pics to my photobucket so I can post them here, but there seems to be a problem with that. I'll keep trying.

I'd like to see the mini dresses and skirts in person most of all. Maybe the faux fur jacket, as well. A lot of it looks kind of cheapy in the pics. I guess we'll see when it comes out!

i really like what i've seen. it's so gorgeous and the colors are really nice. the cuts seem great despite their small pictures on the site. i'm looking forward to it.

i visited my local target tonight and the only behnaz items they had out were yellowish tank tops with a rosette at the neckline for 14.99. i think its dumb.
i ended up getting a target house brand pajama outfit though, so the trip was a sucess.
