Best Sunscreen

fey-efflam, if you get one that says non-comedogenic you should be fine.

I use Neutrogena Oil-Free and it's fine, it can be somewhat greasy at times, but is generally not, and I use it in place of my usual daytime lotion. Today I had a dermatology appointment (sun cancer runs in my fair-skinned family), and the derm. said how great she thought it was that I really made an effort to protect my skin from the sun and avoid it as often as possible. Made me feel good, because amongst my tanning-bed obsessed teenage friends, I am an anomaly!

I am using Clinique right now ... its light, not thick and greasy.

But I was using one by L'Oreal which was amazing .. but couldnt find it again.

My favorite that I've tried is Shiseido, but unfortunately it's way out of my price range right now. At the moment I'm using up whatever is leftover (but not expired, of course!) in the bathroom cupboard. I might pick up some La Roche Posay once all the old tubes are used up...

Sofina gets tons of good reviews. havent tried it. LOVE to death Natura Bisse's suncare. Use their Suncream and now just purchased the Oil-Free Sun Lotion which is new and in a cute portable bottle with its own sponge which I dont use because I dont want any bacteria growing on it, so I use my fingertips. It spreads so nicely, not thick at all like Sisley or Clarins (used both) and leaves my already smooth skin flawless and glowing!
i'm using Sofina as daily sunscreen, so far it's been good, at least better than Kanebo, which i used last summer.
Clarins for face was okay, except that it's a bit greasy, but for body...that one still got me sun burned during my vacation, apparently not blocking too much sunlight...:( (and i re-applied every 3-4 hours).

I tried Clarins sunscreen not too long ago and it irritated my skin and was very greasy. I wouldn't recommend it. I'm going to try Anthelios because I need a good sunscreen and it seems to get rave reviews.

been using l'oreal solar expertise which contains mexoryl sx & xl.
i'm pretty happy with it but might go back to la roche anthelios to switch it up when i'm finished with this tube. l'oreal is cheap though!

I'm using Cetaphil SPF50 UVA/UVB sunscreen at the moment which I get from my dermatologist. It's so non-irritating and leaves my skin glowy! Love that it doesn't feel oily at all as well.

There's this Natura Bisse one which is great too.

I'm currently using a Neutrogena sunscreen that my dermatologist gave me a sample size of. It has an SPF of 70. It feels really thick and it seems to just sit there on top of your skin. But I'm very pale and I just had some freckles lasered off my face so I'm using it to try to maintain the freckle-free results.

Sofina Very Very.I use it everyday and it's very light. My face is less oily when I applied it.It doesn't make your skin two degree lighter.

i have yet to find the perfect sunscreen. i really want one thats light and doesnt leave my skin greasy.. most ones i've tried, it just feels like they leave my skin super dirty.

I'm using Korres Watermelon SPF 20. It smells like a dream and doesnt leave my skin greasy.

i just bought neutrogena healthy defense daily moisurizer with spf 45 and i LOVE it. not greasy at all. i also have one from lancome with mexoryl but its way too greasy and leaves white marks on my face. UGH

I'm using Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer SPF 55. It's not TOO heavy for the high SPF, but it might be causing clogged pores...I'm not sure though.

Over winter I used Olay combo skin SPF 15 but I wanted something higher...don't think I'll ever find the perfect suncreen :(

Having tried all manner of sunscreens, Lancome UV Expert has gone unrivaled for almost a decade... 50 SPF and insanely light. To this day, it's the only sunscreen that does not make me break out. It makes me neither tanned, dry, greasy, nor deathly white. It's also a great primer, imparting a subtle glow. I have dry-ish skin, for the record.

Just wanted to note that I haven't been thrilled with Aveda's sunscreen, which is SPF 15. It separates, and there's not much to love about the texture ...

I use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 85. I know 85 kind of sounds extreme, but I burn so easily, it's necessary. I love how light it is and it doesn't feel greasy or oily at all. My only problem is the scent. It smells very much like sunblock.

Has anyone found a sunscreen that is confirmed to not contain nanoparticles? I'm scared that my supposed holy grail sunscreen, Invisible Zinc may be giving me cancer instead of preventing it!
