okay let me put this very simply. Beyonce cannot act. What she does have is star power and the abilility to generate revenue, and studio's want to turn a profit. See: "Obsessed". Do we think if, say, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, or Vanessa Williams did that film it would be number one at the box office? no, it would go straight to Showtime honey.

Braving the frigid Big Apple temperatures, Beyoncé Knowles was on the go in New York City on Wednesday afternoon (February 2).

The “If I Were a Boy” songstress looked her usual stylish self in a skirt and heels paired with a leather jacket and hat as she hopped out of a black SUV and disappeared into a Manhattan hotel.

Aside from her daily doings, Beyonce recently chatted with press about ehr new signature scent.

The 29-year-old told press, "I created Heat Rush to bring the feeling of warmth and sensuality to every woman who wears it. It's feminine and sexy, fresh and beautiful."

She added, "I wanted this to be something that made you feel like you could conquer anything, and take over the world.”

I've seen all her movies (since I'm a huge fan) and I was just talking about everybody here being so negative about "The Star is Born" and Bee working with Eastwood (which btw would do him no harm). Who knows how she'll present herself in that role. That's what I meant.

that is true, but somebody like, say Maddonna, has maintained relevance for decades, maybe shes not as lucrative as Beyonce but she's held in high esteem, an icon. I just think i like beyonce when she smiles and does'nt talk, or make public statements. whats the most astute socially conscious thing she's said? i'm just saying.. and also her personal style is so sparodic and hit and miss... i wish she'd find a look and stick to it, but this whole "bowler hat" things is so not becoming on you, Beyonce, some peices work individually but the execution is abit off
